Had a very lovely lunch gere with friends. Very friendly staff, delicious food, served quickly, gorgeous log fire. Happy to split the bill between 4 couples - nothing too much trouble! Would return again.

Great bunkhouse facilities, great cafe (great breakfast) and great bar. Very friendly owners. We'll be back. Location is lovely and an ideal place to stay if you want to explore the area - walkers, cyclists and bikers all welcome. Thank you Sue for looking after us so well.

Love this place. Tea and bacon sandwich before you set off and then the best bit a lovely well kept pint on your return. Keeps the old traditional feel of the building and the dales but with a quirky up to date touch. If the sun is shining sit outside on the benches and watch to world go by -...

Excellent bar meal here, and we nearly missed it at the top of the village. Great old property from the 1600's with great atmosphere and a wonderful fireplace dated 1701. Excellent service so I recommend you call. Clapham is a lovely place for a walk and the caves are a worthwile visit.

I booked this place for 11 people in January as I got a positive response from Sue and despite the last minutes changes which may have burden and annoyed some guest houses or hotels, Sue was extermely helpful. She helped me pick a...

11 of us stayed here, using it as a base for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. We arrived around 7pm on the Friday evening and the bar was packed but as the bar usually closes at 7, we managed to grab a decent beer before the bar started to empty. We were then able to use the bar area to relax...

First time that we have stayed here. Booked 3 nights accommodation. There is a small cosy bar that is under the accommodation and is worth going to. There is 3 real ales available and a range of other spirits and ciders also all at good prices. There is a café adjoining the bar which is open during the day and...

I stayed with a group walking the nearby Three Peaks and was warm and comfortable with friendly service in the cafe and bar. We had hired the whole place so did not have to worry about bothering other occupiers and were able to use bathrooms and kitchens without having to work around others. Overall good place to stop for a...
