We recently stayed at Brook house guest house for 3 nights and were extremely impressed. Alan was an exceptional host and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. His breakfasts were excellent. He was always happy to help and gave us lots of useful advice about the local area. We will definitely be staying again.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at Brookhouse in January. Very clean, spacious room with a large comfortable bed. Bathroom was immaculate. Enjoyed a tasty breakfast each morning, poached eggs were perfect. Service was faultless, very welcoming and accommodating. We had to drive to different villages each night for evening meal as reviews for the only pub in Clapham weren't good...

Allan is very welcoming and runs a fine guest house my wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be re visiting soon. A very comfortable nights sleep and a breakfast to die for. We would definitely recommend the Brookhouse Guest House.

Just come back from two nights at this lovely B&B in Clapham whilst doing the three peaks challenge. Alan, the owner was super helpful - completely over delivered with helping us get there and organising transport/food for the challenge (we didn’t have cars). The room was nice and clean with a very comfy bed. Dinner was fantastic quality, as other...

We travelled up from Shrewsbury on a Friday night and the traffic was dreadful. The proprietor was very welcoming when we arrived and left us to settle in and sleep. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bedding and pillows. We had an ensuite which was modern with fluffy towels and a lovely warm towel rail. The room was more...

My wife and I have just spent 2 very comfortable nights at Brookhouse, we found it the perfect choice for our 3 peaks walk in the torrential rain! The accommodation is very typical Yorkshire Dales and owner Alan is a very hospitable host, friendly and a genuinely nice chap. Our room 'white scar' was a good size, had nice decor,...

Spent a great two nights at this lovely B&B in the small quaint village of Clapham. Alan was a fabulous host, nothing to much trouble and very attentive. This was our base for the three peak challenge and a perfect location. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and large fluffy towels. The breakfast was excellent as was...

Unlike the review of 5 weeks ago, biking appears to be Alan's passion and his cycle gear did not bother us one bit, who cares in the scheme of things, it is also his home. The bed in Penyghent was so comfortable, we found it hard to get out of it! The room was comfortable and was very clean, well...

Certain nights of the week Alan cooks - he is/was a chef, very reasonable prices, exceptional food and licensed! Yum! Breakfast too was good and set us up for the day. We made use of the small sitting area behind the dining room. We stayed three nights on a walking trip with friends, forget the car, straight out of the...

There aren't many B & Bs in the centre of Clapham and, for price and location, Brooke House is fairly well positioned. There is easy access to the Ingleborough walks and village amenities. Beware though that parking is on a narrow road in front of the property, under trees that deposited gum on our car overnight. The meals are just...
