The location is perfect, close to the Luleå airport with transferts available, also close to the city but still in a so quiet and wild place to enjoy the swedish landscapes.
The location is very good for northern lights, where you can see them very often while eating at the restaurant, above the archiepelago.
The cabins where you can stay, provide a private place with a terrace outside, and inside a complete living room, a nice kitchen, a bathroom and 2 separated bedrooms, and all the cabins have the lake view !
You can experience many winter activities, that are starting directly from the main building, and even some activities that I didn't find with other companies, so I higly recommand it !
In the restaurant, located in the main building, a huge logs cabin, you can eat the breakfast buffet, the lunch buffet and the dinner in 2 or 3 courses. They also provide vege/vegan courses on request.
The food is amazing and tasty, using local and fresh products, you can even ask for the menu and check it ahead.
In the main building you will find the main entrance with a cozy style, like if you were invited in the living room of your great swedish friend, with the fireplace, the bar and the lake view, so relaxing with a glass of wine !
Outside, down to the lake, you can book a jacuzzi or a sauna, what is really amazing after a cold day.
The lodges are spacious, clean, the activities are breathtaking, and the staff will always arrange everything to make it perfect.
Definitely worthing it, I highly recommand!

We spent Christmas at Brandon Lodge and had a great time. The individual lodges are basic but have everything you need and most importantly were very warm!
We took part in activities such as Snowmobile over the frozen sea and driving our own dog sled was the highlight. It was lovely seeing the reindeer on the frozen sea.
The staff were friendly especially Julia. Food was disappointing in that the choice, other than Christmas Eve, was limited. I do, however, praise all 3 chefs for making me a special desert to cope with my allergy.
Overall we had a great time.

We stayed here for three nights are the end of a trip and it just served to reinforce what a wonderful country Sweden is and how welcoming and friendly its lucky inhabitants are.
The location on the edge of the sea is beautiful - we were there when the sea was frozen which was just magical and unique but equally i imagine this would be a stunning place the rest of the year too.
Sadly, due to COVID-19, we were the only guests staying there but in no way did this effect the service or quality we received. We had a cosy cabin which was comfortable and well appointed. After a week camping, it was nice to be able to spread out a bit!
The main lodge itself was warm and again cosy with an open fire downstairs. We only really went across for our meals but wow, those meals were good!!!! I cannot recommend the food enough and the breakfast spread, despite there being only 2 of us, was incredible.
We did the 4 hour snowmobile trip which again was excellent, great fun, good equipment in excellent condition and a great guide. We then took out the fat bikes the following day which was again great fun.
The sauna was fabulous, especially with some tasty local sauna beers :)
All in all, a wonderful stay and our huge thanks to Goran, Evelina, Greta, Patrik and all the other wonderful staff. I am so sorry that so many people will be missing out on your wonderful hospitality for the rest of the season and sincerely hope you can all bounce back quickly once these difficult times are over.

Well, we're two thirds into a stay at Brandon and not looking forward to leaving!

The location, whilst isolated in the depths of a Swedish Christmas, does not cut you off from the feeling of being much welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Every member of the team has been happy, helpful, considerate and extremely attentive from the moment we were collected from the airport. - despite giving up their Christmas to attend to guests 24/7

Buffet breakfast and lunches, & evening dinner are all served with remarkable speed and efficiency. The food is pretty amazing too. Appreciate the limitations catering for a small community of guests, but maybe an alternative on the dinner menu might be a nice addition ... but by no means a criticism.

Activities are involving, and a blessing that they're in-house, avoiding hours on coached journeys to and from external activities.

The icing, of course, is the location. Breathtaking ... quite literally when it's -20 degrees! In all seriousness, I live in the heart of tourist UK and am rather blown away with the scenery of Brandon's unique surroundings.

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Brandon Lodge where we enjoyed every second of our stay!

The Lodge is in a beautiful location by the Bay of Bothnia with a large range of activities to chose from. What really set Brandon Lodge apart was the warm welcome we received from the team. From landing at the airport to meeting the team in the restaurant area and the guides on the activities, everyone was friendly, helpful and looked after us to ensure that we enjoyed an amazing stay at the Lodge and were able to make the most of our time there.

The main Lodge is cosy, warm and welcoming with a log fire and a lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The Cabins are spacious, comfortable, nicely spaced apart with great facilities and a terrace with a view of the lake. The food in the restaurant is delicious with the meals cooked outside as part of the evening activities being of the same high standards. Traditional Swedish Fika during the daytime activities is also very enjoyable!

Thank you Göran and your team for providing us with such an unforgettable and enjoyable experience!

We have just returned from a 3 day stay at Brandon lodges. The lodges are superb, warm and comfortable with home comforts.
The staff are amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. We were greeted by Dominic, who ensured that our stay ran smoothly. We booked the snow shoe nature walk,Northern lights experience Dog sled adventure, the snowmobile nature and archipelago tour and cross country skiing and all activities were extremely well organised with winter clothing provided and amazing, friendly and guides who were passionate and knowleageable. We booked our stay to include breakfast and an evening meal and all food was of an excellent quality, with the option to buy lunch available too. A superb range of high quality meals with excellent service was experienced across our whole stay. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for amazing, lifelong memories!!!

We stayed here for the past 2 nights for a truely amazing short break, we knew it was out of season before arriving and we ended up being the only people staying here which was so peaceful and relaxing, the main lodge was not open but the owner filled our fridge with food and drinks for breakfast which was so thoughtful as we were not expecting anything having booked a self catering cabin, the cabin was perfect for us and was well furnished and very comfortable, we stayed in cabin number 9 right on the front with stunning views over the lake, the second night we stayed up to see the Northern Lights which was breathtaking, and to be able just to walk outside the warm cabin to see them was a huge bonus. I can imagine what a great experience it is to be here in the height of the season with all the activities going on, but it was also just perfect for us for our quiet 2 night relaxing break. I would definately recommend this place, it's been the highlight of our Sweden trip, thank you.

We recently had a 4 night stay at Brandon Lodge and can’t fault it. Our lodge was clean and well equipped - kitchenette with kettle, fridge, microwave, towels, hairdryer and TV. The beds very comfortable and warm. We had a lovely view across the frozen water and it was very quiet and peaceful.
We had booked our package through Discover The World and pre booked our activities. Due to the weather the order of these were changed, but Goran and his team made sure we didn’t miss out on anything. The husky dog experience was brilliant and you could see the dogs were well looked after and very friendly. Snowmobiling was great fun driving across the frozen ice, and all the equipment was in great condition. Our guides over the few days were amazing, very knowledgable and friendly. My favourite adventure was the hovercraft … what a unique experience ! And to top it off we got to see the Northern Lights two nights running - once from the organised excursion and once from the Lodge.
Finally the food and drink. Breakfast and lunch were buffet style - good choices from both. Dinner was from a limited menu, but was very fresh and good quality. My children are extremely fussy and the kitchen were very helpful in providing them pasta which was perfect. Drinks prices were reasonably priced too.
I would really recommend Brandon Lodge and wish to say a big Thank You to Goran and the team for making our holiday an amazing experience.

We have just left Brandon Lodge after a 3night stay in a lovely warm comfortable lodge looking out over the frozen Baltic Sea.

We booked breakfast and evening meal as we were out on activities during the day. The food in the restaurant was so very very good and plentiful and the staff who work in there are lovely and helpful.

We booked Dog Sledding, Aurora hideaway dinner, nature tour by snowmobile and a night snowmobile Aurora tour, all were excellent with really informative and enthusiastic guides who are passionate about what they do and the place they live.

Goran was waiting for us on arrival at the airport and from that moment on Brandon Lodge and the people who work in this amazing place have given us memories that will last a lifetime, Thankyou

We spent 4 nights here over New Year and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable (special thanks to Eric), the cabins cozy and clean, on the front of the frozen sea. Extra warm clothing provided. The food was great and we enjoyed trying new foods. We booked through Nordic Experiences so transfers and trips etc were all included. Our highlight was definitely the dog sledding. Unfortunately didnt see the Northern Lights, but it didnt matter as the whole experience was fantastic! Would definitely return!
