We met friends for lunch on 9/12 and we all chose different dishes from the three courses on offer on the Christmas menu. Without exception every dish that arrived was utterly delicious. I am very fussy and I have to say this was one of the most impressive meals any of us had ever had and the service was quick and courteous too. I would highly recommend that you should make a visit to this little gem!! Thank you very much

Our second visit in the last three months after a wonderful short break in August. Again it didn't disappoint. Wonderful hospitality from the moment we arrived with our dog getting just as much attention! This fantastic pub has so much character and where do you start with the grounds and surroundings?? The lodge was lovely and lined with loads of lovely touches for Eva our dog. The food was ace and the alcohol just as good. Kelly and her staff are wonderful 10 out of 10 again. Can't wait to get back there!

The owners have provided ideal accomodation if you are travelling with a dog. There is a very reasonable charge of £15 for which they provide blanket, towel, bowls and treats in the bedroom plus treats in the bar and a sausage for breakfast. There are french doors to your private seating area and a wonderful large dog paddock. Sadly, Monty refused to even try the tunnel or slide! We were pleased with our cosy well equipped bedroom and enjoyed an excellent dinner in the upper bar. The staff made us feel really welcome and the service was excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

We booked a cheeky night away for my birthday and was not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. Welsh cakes was a lovely treat. We booked an evening meal, staff were friendly and service was great. We had the sharing platter, which was tasty and lovely to ‘pick on’ whilst sharing a bottle of wine. There was a good choice at breakfast which was freshly cooked, the only thing I could possibly suggest is to serve toast as this wasn’t on the menu so I assumed it would be served with our cooked breakfast. However, I’m sure if we asked for some to be brought out they would of done with no hesitation. Lilly our dog enjoyed her treats and a run around in the doggy park plus lots of fuss from the staff. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
