Don’t do the same as us and drive up the long and narrow country track to Manor Wold Farm as beautiful as the drive was this isn’t the right Farm house (lol a clue in its name) Manor Farm were very hospitable and drove us to and fro the local pub for dinner and also helped out with transport to the start of our walk the following day. Breakfast was of a high quality starting with a delicious fruit salad and yogurt this was followed by a well cooked full English, toast, orange juice, tea or coffee. Cereals were also available. Our rooms was large and comfortable and had tea and coffee supplied. Wi Fi and a tv also in the bedrooms. The bathroom had a bath with a shower above.
I stayed with my wife at the Manor Farm on the way to Filey while walking the Yorkshire wolds. The room was large with comfy bed. The host was excellent and dropped us to nearby pub for dinner. The breakfast was also great.
We stayed here on our walk from Filey to Hull. Beautiful large room, large bathroom, lovely touches like a small fridge with fresh milk in. Our host, David, gave us a lift to the Ganton Greyhound at night, brilliant pub by the way, then a wonderful surprise taking back to the top of the trail where we had finished our section of the walk the previous day. Friendly homely place to stay.
Friendly reception and good large rooms. Great traditional breakfast. Host will provide pack lunches for the next day. Given decent recommendations on where to eat, as nothing in East Heslerton. Best is "Ham and Cheese" pub in Scagglethorpe a few miles away. Transport needed to get to eating places.
