We stayed here for 9 days and it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very accommodating, although slow service at the restaurant at times but I come from Hong Kong so I'm just used to super fast service. We got the balcony room as requested, just make sure you don't leave the balcony door open as flies/mosquitoes can easily get in at night. We also tried the fullbody massage at the spa, it's a bit pricey so I recommend just getting it elsewhere. We also tried the pool, not that big but it wasn't crowded so swimming was great as well! The decor during Christmas was really nice! The location is convenient too with an atm just next to it, restaurants around, Heritage Walk just a min away, 10-min walk to Pub Street and got street food along the way at night! All in all, it was a good location and staff was superb! I recommend asking for Mr. Chan Rith - tuktuk #1 for your tours! We had him for all our tours and he was great, kept us safe at all times!

Overall a very good experience, from the airport pick up to the drop off, all was good. Thanks to all the staff, they are all great, special thanks to Bella who assist us whenever possible.
Small pool but good enough for swimming and kids to play. Hotel is very clean. They are striving not to use plastic so straws are with lemon grass and no plastic bottles in the room , instead they provide water in glass bottles when needed. Well done Mémoire d’Angkor. It is good to have this behavior.
Restaurant was good as well (hotel price).

Ask for room with balcony. We’ve got a room with a view on next door building wall which wasn’t nice but didn’t disturb us that much since you don’t spend time in the room.

Noisy air conditions, that’s a pity. We can hear the outside ventilation since the window isn’t sound proof.

Gym center can be improved. Equipment are not all working well.

Breakfast is good with a buffet + A LA CARTE (around 10 selection).

10 min walk from Pub Street, Old market , night market. 1$ by Tuk Tuk (they ask 2$).

Few meters from shopping mall which is a plus to buy a few stuff.

Overall good, thanks to the staff, clean and good location.

This was my fifth time to stay at Memoire. In my review last year I said it was a hidden gem. This year I would say it is a jewel. it just gets better each time. A real plus is the grill restaurant and bar that is a part of the hotel. There is a beautiful outdoor patio as well as indoor dining. The menu features both western and Cambodian food I like the Cambodian food with just a little spice. It is almost impossible to say enough about the fantastic staff. Everyone is friendly, genuinely kind, and always ready to help it makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious. The price is very very reasonable for a beautiful boutique hotel right in the center yet tucked away for privacy

The hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes walk to Pub Street, lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. There is a lovely pool with lots of sun beds and a small gym. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choices for a freshly cooked breakfast in addition to a continental buffet breakfast. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the cocktails are great and the food excellent with lots of choice at a reasonable cost , $44 for 2 courses, 4 cocktails and a glass of wine . We choose this hotel on the trip advisor ratings and were not disappointed

We were really excited for our stay at Memoire d' Angkor Boutique Hotel during our holiday travels in SE Asia— however we ended up staying at Sokha Angkor Resort instead with a phenomenal Tuk Tuk driver (Mr Chan Rith) provided by Memoire. Read on as to why.

Upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly Sal. Moments later we were told that because of a faulty electronic booking system Memoire would be unable to accommodate us. We suspect that perhaps they’d simply double booked rooms. This was earth shattering news considering the hours of travel and the weeks in advanced we’d booked our stay.

For the inconvenience Memoire offered a resort stay with a sister location about 10 minutes outside of the city-center, which we declined. We spent about 1.5 hrs searching for alternative accommodations nearby (we stayed at Sokha Angkor Resort which was the best stay we could ever imagined during our visit in Siem Reap).

I will say that both Sal and Bella at the front desk were extremely empathetic to our situation and offered help in any way they could. Sal himself offered to take us around the city during his off time. Bella happily assisted us in making phone calls to businesses nearby on our behalf since we don’t speak the language.

As mitigation for the inconvenience I asked that the hotel provide us with a Tuk Tuk driver, which they did. I strongly doubt there exists a better Tuk Tuk driver in all of Siem Reap other than Mr Chan Rith. The service he provided was above and beyond, and if you stay in any other hotel I strongly suggest you call Memoire and ask for this driver by name. We were two women traveling alone and Mr Chan Rith was the first time we felt at easy during our SE trip.

Dear jen_caji, Greetings from Memoire d’Angkor Boutique Hotel ! Thank you very much for leaving your feedback on TripAdvisor. We are here understand how disappointed you've got, due to there is a system error on our side which caused more rooms overbooked. But, we do take responsibility over this by providing free upgrade to our 5* Memoire Palace & Resorts which 5 times the price you pay here. And it just 7 mins from famous pub street, night market and old market, which is about the same distance from Memoire D' Angkor Boutique Hotel down to pub street and old market. But you still did not want that solution and decided to make a booking to stay in another hotel. On top of this, our hotel pay a tuk tuk ( Mr. Chan Rith ) to give you free tour in Siem Reap which end up amazed by his excellent service. Please kindly accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused. It would be a distinct pleasure for me and team to be granted for next opportunity to serve you with most satisfaction for next visit We are all in mind that resident’s satisfaction is our main focus Look forward to taking the best care of you again very soon to Siem Reap With our Love & Care Peter Bunhieng (Mr.) Guest Experience Team Manager Memoire d’Angkor Boutique Hotel

We went to stay at the hotel for just a couple of nights and it was absolutely amazing!
First thing they did was to help us park the car by holding up traffic, after that we were greeted by a lovely woman named Bella who helped us with our bags and checking in.
She asked what plans we had and recommended us things that she thought were important to see.
She recommended that we should see the Anchor Wat and put us up with a very good tour guide called Chin. He was excellent!
The rooms and the overall feeling at the hotel were very clean and tidy and the food was superb.
Bella and her team also gave great restaurant recommendations as well as a beautiful bar with yummy cocktails.
We all highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the near by region!
Thank you for making our visit so very pleasant!

We travelled as a family of 5 adults to Angkor Wat and stayed at this beautiful gem of a hotel for 3 nights. Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. A special mention to all the wonderful reception staff and the restaurant manager. They were ever so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

I had written to them that the trip to Cambodia was in celebration of my sister’s 60th Birthday and the wonderful reception staff, actually organised a cake with candles and music which was a surprise for my sister. A very warm and loving gesture. Thank you so much.

Two of the members in our group were Vegan and the restaurant manager made special arrangements to give them hearty vegan breakfasts each day of our stay.

The rooms were very comfortable and everything for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from including a fresh omelette station.

The location of the hotel is just perfect. It is within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the main market and Beer street which came alive at night. Very easy and safe walk from the hotel to the action streets.

All in all, an excellent hotel with superb and hospitable staff. I would certainly come back to this hotel if I visited Angkor Wat again.

Staff was wonderful. The room was very quiet even though it faced the street. The beds in our room were like sleeping on plywood...SO hard! No towel rods in the bathroom to hang up your used towels. Bring a power strip because there is a lack of electrical outlets. Other than that...fine!

Dear lcb5310, Greetings from Memoire D'Angkor boutique hotel! First and foremost, thank you so much for your stay with us recently while visiting in Sime Reap, Cambodia. Second, it was very great to see your compliment about our hotel but so sad to hearing that your staying experience at our hotel did not meet your expectation due to the downfall of our facilities. So on behalf of the entire team of the hotel, i myself would like to express my sincere apology for the dismay that you met during stay, which made you feel not comfortable and enjoyable. And i am so sorry too for not able to meet you in person and figure out your issues before leaving the hotel. However, thanks for your comment about our bed is so hard and there is no rods to hang your towels in the bathroom so i will see to it right away in order to avoid more complaint in the future. Large, spacious rooms. Impressive breakfast. Easy walk to Pub Street. Professional, friendly and attentive staff who take the time to greet you by name. Judy was very helpful when advising us on a tour we were interested in. So pleased we booked the two-day temple tour through the hotel. Driver Keang and guide Chhin make a great team and took care of everything! Chinn was so knowledgeable about the temples, history, and Cambodian life in general. We learnt heaps and appreciated his easy-going approach, thoughtfulness and care. Keang was a very careful driver and greeted us with a smile and chilled bottles of water each time we returned to the vehicle. (Tuktuk one day and SUV with aircon the next - on Judy’s advice.) Great stay.

Well the first thing to do would report it to the management and see what advice they gave you. Normally, most hotels now have a CCTV monitoring system, so its easy to check who all entered the room in your absence and those persons can be called for questioning. If the amount is large, file a police complaint.
