Lovely place, good staff, nice big bedroom. However for extras it was extremely expensive. Room service, we ordered a large coke, £4.50 ! A small bottle of beer £4.00, and a pint of tap water £1.50 and to get it delivered £9 on top. Hence giving only 4 stars.

Superb 1 night stay. Really excellent customer service. The staff were very helpful, polite and most importantly hospitable. I stayed Dinner, B&B and found the food from the a la carte some of the best I have tried. I stayed in Galatia and found the room to be just right for my

Having visited about 4 years ago, my wife took advantage of a 'Secret Escapes' offer to take me here for my birthday. We had a good idea what to expect, of course, and were, again, not disappointed. We booked the 'Kappadokia' room for this visit. Exquisitely decorated as

The furniture alone in this hotel is enough to make you wish to visit. Lots of it, all matching and all fairly old but not scruffy. Food was excellent, although minimal choice - would love to see a daily special rather than a menu that doesn't change for a whole season.

Dear Hampshire hog, Thank you for your recent review on trip advisor. I shall pass your comments onto the chef about a daily special. We do also run a Bar menu as well as the ala carte menu. I am sorry the bed was not to your liking. It is sometimes quite hard to cater for all mattress preferences so we decided to opt for a more firm mattress. We do have extra mattress protectors for our guest that prefer a softer mattress. We really hope you will be back to see us. Best wishes Sarah

Dear Pulidogs Thank you so much for your review. I am sorry the bacon was not too your liking. We do have a mix of streaky and back bacon from the local farmer. But i completely agree we will change it on our menus. We really hope to see you again at Berwick Lodge. Best wishes Sarah

Can we bring our dogs?
I'm not sure, you used to be able to but I can't say now. Why don't you ring them and ask direct?

Hi, We are attending a wedding next Sept and taking one of your rooms. What time will the room be ready? Thankyou
Our daughter's wedding was in June 2018 and, so far as i remember, the rooms were available at 2 pm. We had a couple of guests who travelled some distance and needed to borrow a rooom early to change, and this was no problem at all for the Berwick people.
