This was our first visit to Cofton in our Motorhome, we were greeted by some very friendly staff and escorted by a very friendly staff member to our pitch. Showers, toilets, and the park itself are very clean We visited the Swan on-site pub in the evening and enjoyed the singer, bingo, and quiz. The food was extortionate price, portion of chips for a medium size bowl £7, very disappointed, the following night we walked down to the Anchor Inn, simply because of the price at the Swan. We went for a swim in the on site pool, it was great clean and warm. This is a great site, and the staff and facilities are excellent. Please change your food prices to be competitive with other local pubs.

We recently stayed in one of the cottages on the Easton estate and had a lovely stay. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. There were teabags, coffee pods, sugar, milk and a few dishwasher tablets left and there was a lovely basket of local food and drinks from suppliers in Devon. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the area is so peaceful! The Easton estate is a short walk from Dawlish Warren but further from the main Cofton Park so if you want to be close by to all the things Cofton offers you may prefer to stay in the accomodation on the main site.

We stayed at Cofton on a Monday to Friday break which was very good value indeed. Our caravan was super clean, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent location for exploring as it's an easy walk to the train station from where you can travel to many towns and cities along the coast. Only negative was the lack of basic info in the van , ie how to use the hot tub and location of recycling and emergency contact numbers. This would be an easy fix. Have to say probably the nicest static we have ever stayed in and we booked next year's break as we left. Thank you Cofton holidays.

I love cofton. We go twice a year, every year. But this time, I was really disappointed. Usually when we enter the caravan on arrival, it is spotlessly clean and fresh. This time, the floors were disgusting, crumbs and bits of food everywhere, there was cress growing through the sink, egg stuck to the dining table, lip marks on the window, greasy plates and the bed sheet was stained. I honestly believe that the caravan was not cleaned at all. My husband went to reception to mention it to them and he was told that someone from housekeeping would come to speak to us. No one did. I sent an email and 3 days later, still no acknowledgement. I’m really surprised, as usually they are very communicative snd as I said earlier, you can’t fault the cleanliness of the caravan. I’d be interested to know why the lack of response. …

We live coftons, we don’t live far away but enjoy weekends in our caravan here… Dawlish warren is down the road so lovely for the beach and lovely walks… coftons is pet friendly and have a dog walking area and all eating places apart from the entertainment area dogs are allowed… they have a pub, swimming pool, in and out, out is seasonal, indoor play area and park… coftons is so clean and well kept, showers and toilets cleaned regularly and the staff are very helpful day and night…. We only go out of season so not sure what it is like in high season but friends have said it good all year round… you will not be disappointed

Fantastic accommodation, gorgeous site with great facilities, something for all ages. The lodge was so clean and well equipped, we really couldn’t fault anything. We’ve previously stayed in a tent on the camping field and the camping facilities are also excellent. Close to Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. A really lovely holiday.

Recently had a two night stay at Cofton on one of the super pitches where they have introduced a separate charge for the electricity supply. We topped up the meter with £10 before arrival - booking in at 12:30 on the Saturday of arrival we used the supply for heating and small appliances during the day only. On the Sunday at 4.30 pm the electricity went off without warning leaving us with no supply at all. I visited the office to be told that the meter needed topping up but on checking our meter I was told that there was £1.38 still on the meter. I questioned why the electricity had gone off but the Reception staff could not explain why it had gone off whilst there was still money on the meter. I then had to top the meter up again which I did with another £10.00. Cofton have agreed to there being discrepancies with the electricity supply but still say the meters are correct. When asked for a breakdown of the charges all contact ceased. I am still waiting for a response. I feel paying for electricity on top of premium pitch prices is totally unfair, not value for money on this site. Cofton will no longer be our preferred choice for this area. …

As always a great holiday thanks to the wonderful staff at Cofton, We have been going to the site for many years and the standards are always high would recommend to anyone. We have stayed in touring caravans, motorhome, static including disabled accommodation and this time in a wonderful lodge. Our experience on every occasion had been great. Thank you to all at Cofton! This is now my fourth visit to Cofton holidays, l meet here with friends but unfortunately it might now be my last. This is due to the cost of a single person. They are not much less than for a whole family of four people. I feel single people are being victimised. Also you now pay For electric on a super pitch and hard standing but they’re not charging on a grass pitch surely this should be the other way around as you pay a premium for super pitches unfortunately on this visit and my last visit, even having credit on my electric, they failed to have my electric on when I had checked in at reception and arrived at my pitch. back in August. It took several phone calls and several hours to get my electric turned on.this time in October It actually took slightly less. With the time being just over an hour but still not acceptable. I personally feel that the general standards are slipping one example, minor problem. New sinks have been fitted but without plugs so you will need a washing up bowl to do your washing up. If you don’t have a washing up bowl, this will lead you to using far more water than necessary. The drinks and the food are far too pricey in the restaurant. One of the toilet blocks had water all over the floor by the urinals, and was told by the cleaners that this was due to the water overflowing, and there was nothing that could be done about it all they could do was go in and clean the floor. all I can say is the standards are slipping. The costs are going up so this will leave me no choice but to look for somewhere else. One other thing to mention remember to bring a credit or debit card as the only place you can use cash is in the shop. Everywhere else is cashless.if you enjoy fishing, then you will not be disappointed Great Lakes and a well-stocked tackle shop with very friendly and knowledgeable staff…
