We spent two lovely nights staying at Orles Barn Hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished whilst complimenting the original features of the building.
Our room was very comfortable with lots of little touches to make our stay extra special like providing bottled water and a coffee machine.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Ross on Wye as the town is only a short walk away.
Roxy was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome.

We had a fantastic stay in late April 2022. We booked the Orange Pippin room, which was a beautiful room with a fantastic roll top bath!
Roxy went out of her way to make my husband's birthday really special during our stay and we really enjoyed her warm hospitality throughout our visit.
The hotel itself is a short walk (10 - 15 minutes) into the centre of Ross-on-Wye and, although it's not far from a road, we didn't hear any road noise.
Breakfast was delicious and very filling with a good choice of buffet and cooked options available.
We loved our stay and we're so glad we chose to stay at Orles Barn. Highly recommended!

We stayed here after checking that all was OK after reading an earlier review and we were reassured that everything was back to normal. The garden is huge with seating for a drink the room was excellent and very clean and Covid safe, the host was exceptional and the food out of this world and great surroundings. The breakfast did not disappoint either and was served freshly out of the kitchen. We will return and envious for those staying now.

We stayed in the Annie Elizabeth room which was lovely. It was a large bedroom with a super king size bed and plenty of room to move around, including a bath in the bedroom. It also has an en-suite shower room and toilet, and also a separate dressing room. There was a gorgeous twinkly lit ceiling above the bath ( and yes you can switch the twinkly light off when not in use). Decoration and soft furnishings were serene and comfortable.

There was plenty of parking. One thing to note is that access is not from the A40 but take the slip road off the roundabout directly after the petrol station and before the A40 towards Monmouth.

Our breakfast in the morning was very good and we ate well.

The staff were all lovely, very helpful and very kind. A lovely stay.

Excellent food, beautifully presented, helpful and courteous staff, pleasant ambiance. Everything you want from a restaurant. Fine dining at fair prices, with sensible portions so that you can enjoy several exquisite courses and feel pleasantly full but not stuffed. Our favourite restaurant for miles.

This is a fabulous hotel, the location is ideal for exploring Herefordshire, the hosts, Roxy and Matt are extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The rooms are lovely (we were in Pixie Apple), with all that you need for your comfort, tea and coffee making facilities, refreshed each day, with biscuits also. Toiletries provided and also refreshed every day. A hairdryer. Bedlinen and towels changed frequently. There is also a safe in the room. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant for an evening meal is also excellent with superb food. We could not have stayed at a better place, we would thoroughly recommend Orles Barn Hotel and Restaurant.

An excellent hotel, have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very warm and friendly, the food absolutely delicious and the room we stayed in, Pixie Apple, was beautifully comfortable. We very much appreciated the air conditioning too, as we chose an extremely hot night for our stay! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to explore the Wye Valley.

Attractive room with a good shower room. The interior of this old building has been done in a modern, fesh looking and relaxing style. I had a nice welcome and was well looked after. Would certainly stay there again.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Orles Barn. Roxy is the perfect host, relaxed and efficient, taking so much pleasure in looking after her guests. Her husband runs the kitchen, serving breakfasts and creating wonderful dinners using local ingredients. We couldn't have asked for more, We look forward to returning!

Booked for a meal, from the phone call to the meal great friendly service. The food is excellent and very high quality. We found out that the menu is changed frequently every few weeks or so, meaning a return is not long away to find out whats new! Open fire in the bar lounge for pre meal drinks, and deciding on Herfordshire fillet or Monkfish, there where several others and vegetarian! If you want attention to detail, excellent service and food then book. Great value for money
