Penida is a pretty big island but in our opinion the Ped area where Ring Sameton is located is the best area to stay. It’s right opposite the beach with plenty of cafes & warungs to dine or drink or just chill & watch the boats come & go. The rooms are clean & basic, the pool is nice & the staff are very helpful & friendly. They offer good value for money & will help you arrange any travel needs you may have. We extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights to enjoy all this beautiful island has. Highly recommend this hotel to you.

Exactly what you expect for a well priced hotel. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are large and super clean and it’s in a good location. We were there as part of a package with Pure Dive (highly recommend). Front and back balcony is nice. Wifi was good too. Breakfast is fine and the pool is warm and inviting. Lots of eating options around including Penida Colada. Super easy to source half day tours with the local guide out the front too (Deaf Ketut is a lovely man and can hook you up with driver, scooter, laundry, massage, etc). Id stay here again 😀😀

We came to Ring Sameton in March 2023 after having made a booking on Hotels.com. Upon seeing the room, we found spots on the bedsheets, brown stains on the towels, mould in the shower and cockroaches under the bed. The pool was cloudy and the entire pool area very dirty. We were showed two more rooms, but all had stains on the bedding, so we decided to ask for a refund. The manager promised us a refund but said that it had to go through Expedia. We found another hotel and filed the claim for a refund. A few days later we were told by Expedia that the management had declined giving us the promised refund. Avoid Ring Sameton on Nusa Penida at all costs. We found another hotel a few kilometers down the coast that was cheaper, clean, friendly and closer to the ocean.

This resort is in a great location surrounded by gardens. Even though it is close to the main road it is set back and so very quiet. There are lovely restaurants just across the road and several have live music every night. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We were upgraded to s bungalow which was very nice. Air conditioner works well. Breakfast is adequate. The staff are extremely helpful and will organise anything for you. The pool is large and beautiful.Definitely recommend this resort.

Good location with some cafés right across the hotel and access to other facilities. You can go down to the beach front from the cafés so that’s great! Harbour is about 10 mins away. The resort has extremely poor wifi connection and the breakfast is average. However, overall the stay was very good! The pool is extremely nice and the rooms are also spacious!

This hotel sits 10 minutes from the harbor where most speed boats arrive and is located perfectly for road trips to the major tourist sights on the island. Also, within 10 minute walking distance you'll find a beach ideal for snorkeling. The staff was super firnedly. No passport check required. At one time there was a problem with the WIFI, the staff let us use the data from her cell phone. That is outstanding service. The hotel is very quiet and offers spacious rooms. As for the cons, there is no fridge in the room and WIFI can be unrealiable at times. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked via email and once we got here the staff told us only the higher priced bungalows were available because it was full even though the hotel had only a couple guests. On check in they told us that if I would pay at checkout they would have to hold my passport? Never seen this anywhere before and declined so had to pay upfront with a 3% surcharge on credit card. Breakfast is very poor. Air conditioning in the room was very weak, they could not fix it and did not offered a different room. Water for the showers and pool is salty. Otherwise is ok.

I can not rave about this hotel and the staff enough. Very clean and large rooms, we had a garden view. The pool is a sun trap which is a must, and when entering the pool it is very warm with low chlorine which is great. The staff really made this stay amazing, unfortunately I had a touch of Bali belly and the staff gave me some medication and Gauva juice free of charge as they were so helpful and wanted me to get better. Thank you so so much for being so amazing. I will definitely be returning. Unfortunately I did not take enough photos but trust me, this is the only resort you should stay on when visiting Nusa Penida

Stayed for two nights. One of my favorite hotel on our trip. Large room, comfy bed, black out curtain, cold AC and nice shower! Wifi was very fast. The pool is great as well. really good service from the front desk and via the manger's what's app. Not a big fan of breakfast buffet but it did the job. Make sure to rent moped across the street, they are great!
