The room was cleaned everyday, sheets changed. The beach across the road is nice but beware of the bumsters. The breakfast is ok, only bananas for fruit unfortunately but you can ask for eggs, you stay for longer than 5 days the buffet gets boring. The staff is superb, Take a yellow taxi for the strip during the day is...

The staff is still very kind and tyhe rooms are clean, still daily change of bed linnen and towels. Unfortunately the hotel is fully collonised by the dutch touroperator Correndon.Beach is within walking distance, but to go for the "STRIP" and restaurants you need a taxi (yellow shared ones Dalasi 8, green private dal 50). or walk the 4km along...

We were staying in the 5 star hotel across the road, but loved coming here for the food! Fair prices, varied menu, friendly and actual helpful staff. Dishes could be adjusted to be vegetarian like it was the smallest trouble in the world. Only downside is that the terrace is very near to the road. Also, one time this kid...

If you visit Banjul and Serekunda, the Gambia, there is a good hotel I recommend. The hotel is Baobab Holiday Resort. It is located in very convenient place 5 minutes drive from Kololi area of Serekunda. A functional, clean and gorgeous room, and kind and accommodating staff will welcome you. We have been to this resort on many occasions to eat or have a swim off season. The waiters as always are charming and efficient. Depending on the chef of the day will depend if your lunch is good or bad. On most occasions they make the best ever fish and chips or fish burgers. However, our last visit resulted...

I was here for business - teaching stay. When I compared accommodations, I realised how expensive the fares are for what you get (1500 Dalasis/night , over 30€). There are many low- to medium-income countries whose hospitality costs goes along local market prices, assuming that travellers may spend much more than locals (hostels / basic hotels in Latin-America or Southeast...

Baobab is a well known hotel for people who travel to Gambia to help. It's not a new hotel but it is clean and the people are very, very friendly. If you want to go to the beach... Just cross the street, if you want to stay at the pool, enjoy your time there. All the rooms are build around...
