I stayed here as part of a Backroads trip and this Chateau and the grounds are simply amazing. The rooms are fabulous. I was in the main part of the Chateau, and although there is no air conditioning, with the windows open, the temperature was perfect. The people who work there are simply the most helpful and welcoming. Great food....

A number of us travel to Vault de Lugny at least once a year. The visits just get better. The rooms are always spotless and the cuisine excellent. The owners, Pascal and Elisabeth make sure that our stay is always relaxed and happy. The staff are lovely people and we never have to ask for something twice . We cannot...

we go here every summer to escape the heat of Paris. Stellar wine, food and service, heavenly grounds and beautiful rooms. Peacocks and geese roam the grounds, and there are two resident dogs. Choose the rooms detached from the hotel. They are the best.

The setting is incredible, the castle is conserved wonderfully and really clean. The overall ambiance is just perfect. We went for a walk in the gardens that was peaceful and well manicured. But... As we are a young couple we were definitely judged by the staff and the managers for being there. We were in our early twenties and even...

We were looking for a top level country hotel for our stop off in the area. We were very happy to have decided on this family owned Chateau-farm. The staff are friendly and the building/grounds very pleasant. The bar is comfortable and the restaurant very good, beautiful atmosphere. The room was OK, the pillows awful and the bathroom old and...

The bedroom was cosy and so well designed , very spacious. the surround is perfect for those travelling with dogs and the owners go out of their...

The property is lovely. Food was delicious at dinner as well as breakfast. The wine tastings were a very nice touch. Definitely recommend room request, as ours was in the attic, warm & not very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights this summer. Our room (actually suite) was not in the main house, but rather in a smaller building near the entrance. But do not let that fool you. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury, with a huge living room (large old stone fireplace), very comfortable bedroom,...
