Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The chalet is now managed and staffed by Alpne Culture of Chalet Rassel fame.
So as usual the staff and service is superb. Unbelievable cooking with an excellent choice of wines.
The chalet is modern but authentic. They have definitely used an interior designer because all the rooms have a different style.
Exceptionally comfortable and everything works.

The wall across to the nursery piste is about 50m and then it is downhill another 100m to the bottom lift and you can ski back agin to the chalet. Perfect.

Oh and they bring your skis for fitting the night before.

Perfect.

Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt - THE BEST, most unbelievable chalet in the alps.
12 of us went out to celebrate a year of hard work, which was rewarded in the most monumental way.
Delicious food, ample amounts of drink. Heaps and heaps of powder all to ourselves.

Yellowstone could not be located in a more mesmerising spot, perched on a rock overlooking the entire valley.

Cocktails in the outdoor jacuzzi over-looking bourg st-maurice after a days skiing.
St foy can accommodate all levels. Some of us took a heli from right outside yellowstone over to Italy for the day, others skied the back country straight off the pistes and the rest stuck to the groomed uncluttered pistes of St Foy.

Canapés and champagne by the fire before a mouth watering three course dinner cooked by the amazing Matt and Isch.

I could not recommend any where else but this place, be it with your family a corporate trip or even if you just want to get away for the weekend. 10/10. brilliant - Thank you!

A belated report from our stay over the New Year week 2012/13 when I took over the whole chalet for my family, my sister's family and another family (friends)....6 adults & 7 kids aged 4 to 18. We've been to St.Foy several times before and stayed in various catered and non-catered chalets with various firms. This is without question certainly the best chalet in St.Foy because its location is perfect, the interior is stunning, great food and service. It's not cheap but it's worth it! Nothing else needs to be said!

Felt like we were missold. Web site says "Service: nothing is too much trouble. Your every need - from buying lift passes to the topping up of glasses - is tended to by quietly efficient live-in staff... you won't need to lift a finger." Well the host wouldn't go and book our lessons, she refused to get champagne for guest as an aperitif, anything you asked for was met with a huff and an issue or was done on the hosts terms, went it suited her - like buying drinks for the none existent open bar. In the end we got te driver to stop at an 8-8 store to get alchohol as the hosts couldn't be bothered to buy what we asked her to get.

The chalet girl and cook were excellent. Very pleasant can-do attitude and great food, really tasty. The only thing that left a bad taste in our mouths was the feeling like we're were on holiday with the fun police. If you don't want to serve your guests you shouldn't rent your rooms.

End result? I would only go back once they change the host. She is truly awful in this role.

What unbelievable week we just had at Yellowstone 9-16th April. The chalet staff Klausi , Melvin (chef), Lauren & Callum were tremendous & could not do enough for us. The food was absolutely superb easily the quality of a top restaurant. The accommodation was of the highest quality, the décor & ambience created a beautiful atmosphere that my family & friends really enjoyed. We will definitely be going back. Take a bow Yellowstone!!! 8 very happy adults & 8 very delighted kids!!

I don't think I could recommend anything higher than Yellowstone Ski lodge. I have been skiing all of my life and have been lucky enough to stay in some wonderful places but this really did cut the mustard! It was almost impossible to leave it and it has such a wonderful atmosphere inside it. It's spacious and cosy at the same time and the food was delicious. Such easy access to the slopes and in a fantastic location, I cant wait to go back!

Yellowstone is an absolutely fantastic place, we stayed there for our honeymoon.
It is set in an ideal location, minutes walk from the slopes, with a stunning vista. The Chalet has a modern décor unlike most others we’ve looked at, and yet has a very homely feel.
The staff were impeccable and couldn’t do enough to help, allowing you to have any wish catered for but at the same time making you feel as though you’d know them forever. The food was exquisite every day of our stay, canapés and champagne before a tasty 3 course meal paired with some excellent wines. We didn't want to leave and don't really want to tell people about Sainte Foy so it stays a great secret.

I had the most amazing time when I stayed at Yellowstone. The chalet is amazing and so cosy with open fires and so much space. It is in a fantastic location, very close to the lifts, restaurants and ski hire. The food at the chalet was incredible, some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted and the wine was amazing. The hosts were so will kind and friendly and willing to help with anything. The hot tub is just what is needed after a long day skiing with the beautiful view and snow surrounding it. I will definitely be coming back to Yellowstone, I had one of the best holidays ever there and would recommend it highly to anyone.

This was our 3rd stay at Yellowstone and we continue to be impressed. Great location, fabulous roomy chalet, excellent hosts and wonderful food.Looking forward to our 4th stay.
Good access to neighbouring resorts and our hosts kindly took us to Tignes Le Breviers on a day when skiing was limited in the resort due to a lift closure. Caroline & Steve
