Friendly, modern and classic combination, perfect views in well-sized rooms. You feel at home in a minute. First level with reception and a bar, pizzeria, second level with a very fine restaurant, serving local food at modeste prices.

Best sleep, food, and bar in the whole Savoie/Haute Tarantaise. 10 minutes from 7 ski resorts, featuring over 200 lifts. Serving endless powder for the keen Freerider!! I've been coming here since the 90's and it always deliver.

Used Le Monal as a base for a 2 day visit to the region. Arrived very late but the door code and room key got me in no problem. Nice small room in the main old building. It's an interesting, cosy building with a bar and two restaurants, one of which is more relaxed. I had an excellent meal from... More

Turned up and managed to book the last room (the other accommodation I had originally booked had fallen through). The price was a little more than I would have liked to pay but the room was clean and tastefully furnished. A very good power shower and a comfy bed. Breakfast wasn't included in the rate and like most breakfasts that... More

We stayed in hotel Le Monal just one night over the weekend for a ski with friends who stayed up the St Foy ski station area in a residence chalet. It was a really cute and sweet hotel, clean and charming. There was free parking in front of the hotel across the road. The twin room we had was quite... More

It was my friends birthday and the meal started off well until some young lads came in who were obviously friends with the waiters and as soon as they came in the professionalism was thrown out the window. They were more interested in watching the football and laughing behind the bar then serving the drinks we ordered. When the food... More

This is a budget hotel, very basic, but clean and nice. Room is quite big compared to other hotels of this rank. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast with fresh products and fresh orange juice!! The restaurant is excellent. Not a huge menu but all was very tasty. We had there 2 dinners and one lunch. The location is good: 10... More

Restaurant was extremely expensive and very poor slow service on both occasions we ate there during our stay in Sainte Foy. However, the quality of the food was excellent. More choice in the upstairs restaurant compared with the downstairs restaurant.

Made an emergency stopover at this hotel after plane delays meant we missed connections to get up to La Rosiere. We arrived at about 1am but despite this we were given lots of help trying unsuccessfully to get a taxi before we booked in for the night. I found the room to be spacious and comfortable, just what we needed!... More
