Spent a wonderful 5 nights at The Black Diamond lodge and had such an amazing time. The hotel is perfectly positioned for easy access to the slopes - about a 5 minute walk or a free shuttle bus. And should you wish to eat out there also a variety of restaurants within 5 minutes too. Why, you would want to eat out though is another question! The food is delicious and I love that you order your meal from the comfort of your seat in the lounge whilst enjoying the warmth of a roaring fire. Once your meal is ready then you are showed to your table. A very relaxing touch we found. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, we didn’t use the spa but were fortunate to be blessed with a hot tub on one of the two balconies our room had. Sitting at the end of the day on our balcony, in the sunshine whilst admiring the Mountain View’s were one of my highlights of the stay. Of course, the ski g was great too! Our thanks go to the entire Black Diamond team. The whole team were exceptional and they did everything to make your trip enjoyable. The Black Diamond Lodge and team were fantastic; from accommodating our late arrival on a Friday evening, to the great service provided throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely every day. We stayed in a twin room which was perfect for a couple of mates. Free covered parking was nice bonus. Ski rental and the uplift just a short walk. Ski to door (bar!) at the end of the day. The pool, sauna and steam room soothed the aches each day. The lodge is 'traditionally modern' whilst being warm and cosy. Great views from every aspect. With a car we accessed lifts to Les Arcs, Tignes or Val D'isere within about 20 minutes. We did a day in each, plus Sainte Foy which is a hidden gem of a ski resort...Overall, perfect.

A great location even for non skiers. Plenty to do near the chalet. We stayed in chalet Condor which was perfect for our family of 5. We had an issue with Wifi which was quickly sorted out, and were offered use of the bar/lounge in the interim. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any requests. We were self catered, however we also ate in the Restaurant which served great food, and the bar was a comfortable, social area

The room was very comfortable with stunning views, the service was extremely personable and attentive, and the location was great being able to ski into the hotel directly from the slopes and a short walk to the lifts at the start of the day. We were very impressed with Black Diamond Lodge and Sainte Foy for a great ski destination!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful place. We stayed in the Presidential suite which was lovely. Whilst not really a ‘suite’ as such, the room was very large and comfortable with a seating/small dining area and a large bath behind the huge bed overlooking the mountains. The 2 balconies were exceptional, offering amazing mountain views from both. To cap it all, one balcony had a private hot tub - lying there after a day’s skiing, aperitif in hand, looking at the sun setting over the mountains was out of this world. All the staff were amazing. Friendly, kind and very helpful and also professional. Laura gave us the best welcome we’ve ever had anywhere! A hearty breakfast, with lots of choice, every morning is included. We ate dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was very well thought out and tasty. We were also delighted with the spacious public rooms. This was a very special holiday for us and Black Diamond did not disappoint. I’m not sure we shall ever be able to afford our suite again ( it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for) but we’ve already started saving up for next year! A lovely little break to celebrate our birthdays. We never stay anywhere else in Sainte Foy and as always we were treated fantastically by the team. We were lucky enough to be able to book the suite, it is definitely worth it….nothing better than watching the sun drop behind the mountains whilst sat in the hot tub. See you all next season.

We enjoyed another perfect stay here and really noticed an increased level of professionalism from all the team - especially Liz running the bar and restaurant and her team of hosts. The food this winter has a lovely South American twist and we really enjoyed the new flavours.

Once again, our stay at Black Diamond was fantastic for many reasons. The gorgeous setting, food to die for, lively bar ambiance and the staff who were so very attentive to our needs. It was refreshing to have multilingual interactions with the lodge’s management team. And we especially liked lounging around the fireplace and also took advantage of the library area. I organised a group holiday at Black Diamond Lodge in June 2022. Everything was superb and I would just like to pass on my personal appreciation to the hotel staff, Santiago and Adrian, and to the chef, Kumari and walking guide Jonny. Santiago made everything so easy for us and always went the extra mile to make our stay as successful and comfortable as possible,, including catering for our very late arrival due to flight delays. Many thanks for looking after us so well. We loved our stay at Black Diamond Lodge and were most impressed by the standard of accommodation which made our stay so comfortable and relaxing.
