FAMILY CAMPSITE LOCATED AT THE SOURCES OF LAKE ANNECY | We have been pleased to welcome you to our 3-star*** campsite since 1981. Nestling at the foot of the mountains, in our beautiful area of “Lake Annecy sources”, the campsite is located on the border of Savoy and Upper Savoy. Away from the tourist bustle of Lake Annecy, the Champ Tillet is set in a wooded, peaceful, and revitalizing area. The cycle track (length: 35.6 km) which runs next to the campsite provides an ideal starting point, both for experienced cyclists eager to climb legendary mountain passes, and for families wishing to pedal in complete safety. Founded 40 years ago by Maryse and Constant Bardet, the Champ Tillet campsite has continually been improved over the years, whilst remaining a family-run business. Today, our 3*** family campsite has many of the facilities of a larger one, with its heated indoor and outdoor pools, 1 brand-new sauna (from season 2021!), 3 waterslides, and 1 children’s pool. Don’t wait any longer and come up here: Now it’s your turn to relax and just have fun!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our third stay at Champ Tillet was as wonderful as the previous two. It’s perfect for all three of our teenage children. Brilliant cycling area for families and anyone who wants to challenge themselves in the mountains. The campsite team are amazing, facilities always super clean, lovely small scale entertainment and just the most chilled atmosphere. We were given a double pitch to accommodate an extra pup tent and love that the campsite has lots of French visitors. Loads to see and do in the area and can’t wait to visit again.

First Stay here and i will most certainly be back there. Beautiful location and most friendly of staff. I had trouble with my campa van and the staff bent over backwards to help. Has all facilities. Safe for loan travellers.
Not at all touristy but near enough to visit Annecy and the Lake. Good to get back there though after the bustle of Annecy.
Has a large tented area with seating and well stocked kitchen which is free to use.
I think i can say without a doubt that it was probably the best site i have ever camped on.

This is a family-friendly camp-site where the owners are present. They really do try to put on regular evening entertainment for children of all ages. There is a small swimming pool with a water slide too.
Some campers have referred to the noise from the D1508 but if you are pitched towards the field side it's not so bad. Others have referred to low temperatures at sink and shower taps. Indeed this was observed but by switching to another sink the problem was solved!
The camp-site has a restaurant with a good menu choice and nice service.
Just outside the entrance there is a boulangerie and a fruit/veg stall.

Big pitches with shade. Plenty of space between pitches.
Quiet by 10pm every night. A little bit of road noise the only downside. Very friendly entertainment team. Good pool. Very good priced restaurant and lovely pizzas

This was our second visit to Champ Tillet after a three gap. We stayed in one of the Safari tents, which had everything we needed and a huge amount of space to spread out. The campsite is never crowded and the facilities are always very clean and well maintained. The owners really do care about the site and are involved in all aspects of the day to day operation, including the varied and family friendly entertainment. The pool is great and the theirs lots of open space for football and other games. The site is located between Annecy and Albertville with easy access to the beautiful surrounding mountains and many and varied activities and attractions of the Haute Savoie region. It also has the excellent traffic free cycle path immediately on the doorstep for riding into Annecy. We have stayed on many sites across France in our own tent and Champ Tillet is far and away the best. Not too big and not too small with fantastic and friendly owners and staff. Cant wait to visit again!

We had a great stay at this campsite. Beautiful surroundings where we have undertaken many active activities.
Campsite, nice sanitary facilities, shower with push button, showers next to the toilet, a downside. Dishwater too lukewarm. But that's the only thing. Nice playgrounds, fun activities, spacious pitches and a nice welcome drink with a delicious home-made framboise punch. Staff are all friendly and speak English.
Booked canyoning with Camille from the campsite, it was absolutely fantastic!!
