We stayed at this place for 2 nights, and our experience was pleasant. The host Kim, was very warm in her behaviour, and was in constant touch with us since our reservation. The property is in front of the beach and has 4 villas, each consisting of 4 rooms. The rooms are not very big to be honest, but very luxurious with all the modern equipments. Rooms on ground floor have their own small pools. The property has one big pool as well. Once you reach your room the host gives introduces you a manager who will look after you for your every need. Food wise the prices are very reasonable, and the cook is ready to go out of the way to prepare something special for you.
Our stay was very comfortable and thus would recommend this property.

The hotel was well located, atmosphere was very peaceful. The rooms were clean and equipped on a proper level. Staff and hotel manager were very approachable, friendly and very helpful. The hotel can arrange transportation , daytrips and just about everything you need - just ask. Breakfast was included in the hotel room rate and it was quite comprehensive (the only minus is that Tanzania is known for its good coffee - so Arabica quality coffee could have been possible? The hotel has the opportunity to dine (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

If you are looking for peacefull & quiet place to be... this is for you👌

We had the pleasure of staying a couple nights at Zanziblue, a quiet piece of heaven away from the main Zanzibar buzz.

Everything we experienced met our expectations!

The staff was super friendly upon check-in and guided us to our rooms and where always accommodating no matter the situation from management to all the other staff.

2 staff members stuck out to us in particular, Lucy with her smile as well as Alex with his quirky persona, which definitely put a smile on our faces every time.

Although we had quite a bit of rain, every now and then the sun would pop out leaving breathtaking beach views and soft white sand.

This resort was very peaceful and allowed for some great quality time enjoying the crashing waves sounds of the ocean as well as a cozy bottle of wine.

our few days where thoroughly enjoyed, and especially considering there is a no mask policy in Zanzibar.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and you feel like a part of a welcoming family from the moment you arrive. They set up flower petals in our room for our honeymoon! Our host, Juliette, took great care of us from helping us book excursions around the island (swim with dolphins!) and helping us navigate the Covid testing centers on the island for our international flight testing requirement. We loved eating at the hotel restaurant too. The chef was so kind and even made a few dishes we specially requested. The breakfast features warm fresh breads and pastries, as well as full English options like eggs or meats. The fruit and vegetables were incredibly fresh too. Everything was served very timely as well, excellent service. The beach nearby is also lovely for walking and offers nice sunrises.

What a great time we had here. From the moment you enter you know that this is not just any hotel. Personal attention for the guest is very important in this hotel. The delicious food is a joy to look forward to, the smallest dishes look so beautiful with a flower or twig. It is all about details at Zanziblue. What an unbelievably great team is the Zanziblue team. Wow!
Maybe two points that in our view could be improved. The cold water in the private swimming pool prevented us from using it. And that we couldn't see the ocean over the hedge from the sun loungers by the pool. But for the rest again, AMAZING!

This is a beautiful resort, right on the beach in Zanzibar. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The manager made sure everything was top notch (even moved us to a room with a better view). Luckily the restaurant there is very good since there are few other dining options near by unless you get a taxi. Staff were all fantastic and really seemed to like their jobs. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and watching the women collecting seaweed during low tide. The beach is swimmable but the seaweed takes away from the experience a bit! The sand is like white powder. We spent a several days here recovering from jet lag before heading out on a safari. It was super relaxing. The pictures are an accurate depiction of the resort.
Pros: Beautiful location, excellent staff, good restaurant, clean and comfortable rooms, good management
Cons: Distance from town and popular locations

Zanziblue is literally a home away from home for me. I’ve been coming here since 2016 when Christina started with just one house. Her kind reputation and character have allowed this place to grow to be something truly unique and amazing. The location is quiet and fenced from the beach, allowing tranquility - while also being beachfront and steps away from the beautiful Indian Ocean. The restaurant and Chef are renowned around the island. The staff members are all incredible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Really enjoyed our stay at Zanziblue. We had some issues with our first room being a bit noisy and the stuff find an alternative solution and we were very happy with it. The staff is incredibly lovely and helpful, super welcoming and always smiling and making you feel like home. Food was really amazing in their restaurant. Really recommend including dinner in your package - such an amazing variety of choice in their a la carte menu. The views from pool are and rooms are so beautiful. Pool area is so nice as well and it's private so huge bonus. All areas are also very clean. Truly recommend it for personalised experience. We went to another hotel after in a different area of the island and we could really feel the difference, Zanziblue had top service. Oh and definitely worth trying massages there as well!

All that we'd hoped and more. The perfect combination between a private villa and small hotel and thr warmest welcome from Kim and the team who couldn't have done more for us (they even played with the kids and enabled us to have some switch off time). Ideal for families looking for a quiet break away on an idyllic stretch of sand. Plenty to do with kayaking, SUP and cycling on site and snorkelling trips nearby. Not that we really wanted to do that much as the sun loungers and long lazy walks along the beach were too inviting. Very comfortable rooms that opened up to a balcony and THAT view. Dinners by the pool under the stars to round off the day. We didnt want to leave...

Mathers M asked a question Sept 2018
the hotel's beach , is it good for swimming ?
Answer from Jet54609855539
The difference between high tide and low tide is over 3m. Best time to swim in the ocean is at mid-high tide (typically 2-3 hours mornings and late afternoons). During low tide the water is too shallow to swim, but you can always enjoy our pool :)
