We just had a wonderful stay at Country Mile Escape. Trish the owner has done an amazing job. She has put so much time and effort into providing pristine luxurious accommodation in an amazing rural setting. The decor was first class with an amazing bathroom and the most comfortable bed with top quality linen. We enjoyed an amazing dinner out on the decking overlooking the farm animals and rolling hills. There are so many places to visit within such close proximity such as Waterfalls, Wineries, Tamborine Mountain etc. Had an awesome time. Highly recommend it.

I recently took my wife away for night, but I did not want to travel to far from the coast. Country Mile Escape was the prefect location. Only 35 minutes off the M1 and in a prime location away from everyone and everything. You really feel like that you are away from the hussel and bussel of the big city.

Trish has thought of everything - a BBQ, outdoor sitting area and bathtub for the misses to soak in. The cabin has a kitchen with dishwasher and enough sitting space to accommodate any friends that my visit.

We had such a great time.

Recommendations - bring a book, a bottle of wine and some food

We just spent a night at the Country Mile Escape. This was by FAR the best place we have ever stayed. Absolutely everything was thought of. Need tongs, provided. Need a mixing bowl, it’s just there in the draw. I have never stayed somewhere that I wanted to both wake up early and see the sunrise and stay in bed because it was so lovely be in. So close to the town- butcher and baker there so you can whip up something in your cabin on the bbq by the fire pit. Otherwise, a gas burner stove (even oil, salt and pepper provided) by the effective indoor fire. Otherwise there’s a lovely restaurant in town.

Trish is such a wonderful host and we just enjoyed sitting outside and watch the world and animals go by. We stayed in the Shay but can’t wait to return with another couple and stay at the Arial.

The bath is immense and every fitting is so lovely, stunning and glittering countertops, sofa, tv, DVD player. The shower was so clean I could see my reflection on the floor.

What an amazing place and Trish is not charging enough, better than any 5-star hotel in my opinion

Thanks so much again and see you again soon!

We loved our short escape to the magical Country Miles Escape. It was so refreshing escaping the overwhelming smoke from the city to the green country side. Tris was very welcoming. Our little princess loved feeding the baby Goat. 🐐 Locally you can explore the many activities from horse riding, milking the Cow, dinning etc. Highly recommend it 🤗 🐑🦚🦋

Stayed in the Ariel for 2 nights and I didn't want to leave!!

The cabin was just perfect with all the amenties you need, the most comfy bed and an amazing bath tub to soak in. Very private and Surrounded by rolling hills and the friendliest cows, horses and sheep-it was just the reset I needed.

Trish is lovely and very responsive to any messages upon booking etc.

It feels like you are miles away from everything and everyone, but infact the township of Canungra is only 10min drive away, the vineyard 20mins away and loads of the gold coast hinterland's best walks within an easy drive as well.

This is one very special place and I'm already trying to work out when I can go back again!! 💕💕

Beautiful country stay, the cottages are extremely clean and well away from each other. You’re at the bottom of the hill but can walk the property and climb the hill at sunset (totally worth the climb). The never ending parade of cows, sheep, horses, birds and wallabies will keep you entertained while you sit on the verandah. Beautiful bathrooms, small kitchenette, Weber outside. Fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Host could not be more helpful. Explore the property, venture down to the creek to see the platypus or drive ten mins to Canungra for a meal. Only problem was we didn’t stay long enough.

A complete package of five star accommodation with privacy and big sky star scapes inviting you to converse beside the fireside. Walk the paddocks and become one with our Cost of Arms and other domestic charges, who call this place their home.

A delight to cherish in your memory banks.

Malcolm.

We stayed in The Shay for 2 nights. It is an extremely well appointed cabin with a French Provincial theme. The cabin is secluded, but has spectacular views and the friendly sheep, cattle and horses that meander past at various times of the day certainly give you the feeling of being in the country. We needed a "recharge" after the hustle and bustle of buying a new house and packing, moving, and unpacking, and this was the ideal spot.
We very much enjoyed the stay, and were also impressed with the hosts, Trish and Murray, who were very welcoming but then didn't intrude at any point of the stay.
We will definitely be returning.

The only reason for not giving this fabulous getaway five stars is to try and keep it a secret so it's easier to get a booking for next time. What a magic location with total privacy - just you, the animals and the wildlife. The only thing friendlier than the cows, sheep and horses are Trish and her wonderful family. Beautifully appointed cottage, comfy bed and a spectacular bath looking over the scenery.
Everything you think of for a country escape, but close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We recently stayed in the Sway, a gorgeous little cabin at the Country Mile Escape. It was a last minute booking, and we were lucky that someone had cancelled. It was fabulous! The cabin and surrounding countryside were gorgeous and Trish bent over backwards to make sure our stay was the best...we will definitely be back!
