They really take care of everything. We snorkeled, hiked, saw dolphins, a sloth, hundreds of birds, and the other guests were a lot of fun. The guides were knowledgeable, the food was great. I can't say enough good things about our trip.

The lodge is set in the middle of the rain forest along a wonderful beach. It is an upscale Swiss Family Robinson with a wooden lodge set in the trees. Our room was a small cabin with our own private porch, three beds, a large...More

The 24-hour solar electricity system at Nicuesa Lodge cannot handle the surge of a blow dryer. As in all of Costa Rica, we have outlets that are compatible with U.S. standard plugs/electrical appliances, so you may charge... More

The average temperatures in June are in the high 80s F (30 C) during the day, and in the mid to low 70s F (24 C) at night. We have ceiling fans in all of our rooms, which also let in plenty of fresh air, for temperature... More
