The spa is wonderful. The front sitting room has games and beautiful views. The beds are comfortable. We dined in the Corn Maiden because their other restaurant was closed for renovations. We ate the prime rib buffet. Only complaint is that the prime rib and au jus was cold.

I had a business meeting at the resort, and had brought some family along because I love the area. The meeting facilities were excellent, and the meeting food some of the best I've had. The resort is beautiful, and the respect for the native culture and the environment is

We love the Tamaya and visit at least once a year. The surrounding land is wonderful for easy walks and bike or horseback rides. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are not especially sound proof, usually quiet after about 10pm.

Yes. The resort property is huge with some very long, scenic trails. Don't forget yo bring water. It is usually very hot and dry.

We never saw a dog anywhere on the property... I love dogs but when I travel I prefer a no animal policy. I have friends in the hotel business and have learned of many horrific tales of what sub-human people let their dogs/cats do in a hotel.

They run a horse sanctuary for abandoned or old horses. They are very well cared for. A amazing volunteer operation for the horses.

It should be open by now or by Memorial Day! I would call the hotel to make sure. The hotel does offer multiple restaurants and room service for drinks. The pools are always open because they are heated. Great place...enjoy!

There are really good places to eat not far. All of the places at the Hyatt were very pricey. Just a 10 minute drive away and you will find some jems.
