Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Greeted by 4 stunning huskies from inside their pen just outside the restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely, the man serving us (who’s name I’m afraid has slipped my mind) had very good English which allowed us to exchange a few jokes with him. I ordered the ‘Rebloburger‘ and asked our waiter whether the bun had sesame seeds on top because of my sesame allergy, he said there was but quickly offered to replace the bun with a baguette. I thought that this was very professional and I massively appreciated his thought. Everyone’s food came 10 minutes later. My burger was brilliant - cooked perfectly and the cheese on top of the meat was divine. The only thing I can fault, is that the burger comes in a little card tray on the plate; the card was unnecessary. I shared a sugar and lemon waffle with my friend and we both loved it - crisp on the outside but nice and fluffy in the middle. Everyone left the restaurant satisfied with a full belly. Overall, great staff serving great food in a great location. They were able to cater for a vegetarian in the group as well as an nut and sesame allergen, everyone left with a smile on their face. Will definitely be returning when I’m next in the area.

We went twice during our ski trip, for coffees and lunch. Service very friendly and food/drinks all good. I had no idea it was a hotel!. It's right by a lift but a bit off the beaten track. It's cosy inside and has a sunny terrace outside too.

Cheers Frank for being a top host! 4 very happy English cyclists. Perfect for any cyclists wanting a refuel and a good laugh with superb host. Celebrated my 40th birthday here and had a surprise rendition of Happy Birthday over bbq and beers. England made it to World Cup semi final whilst there. (It’s coming home) Views are immense!

Well what can we say about our recent stay, Frank you were an excellent host. We wanted a place to ski in and ski out, simple good food in the evening and at a reasonable price, well we found it here. I have looked at the previous reviews and what do people want when they go skiing, it's a matter of priorities. A TV in your room or good location it's the choice you have to make. We will be making a return visit. Thanks Frank for a great few days.

We had a pleasant surprise, quiet environment with a wonderful view. Frank is a very friendly and caring host! And he was even a great chef for dinner and breakfast. A quiet place far away from the more touristic areas. Many thanks and looking forward to staying again!

We have had many lunches at this restaurant over many years of skiing in the area. The terrace and view on a sunny day is lovely and likewise the interior great for the cold days. Don't find the patron over welcoming and service is slow - not what you would expect in the service industry. But we continue to visit as food has been good and my husband has had many excellent plat du jour there.
