Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Totally loved this place. Villa was gorgeous. Trips were amazing. Definitely worth doing. Was unsure as it's the first time we had tried something like this. Fantastic place to cut yourself off and reflect. 100 out of 10!!!

My friends and I stayed at leather-back villa at sunset beach. The room was beautiful with everything you need plus 2 air-conditioning. The staff was very accommodating and nice. Food was great and reasonably priced. The best part about this resort was the beautiful sunset and the free kayaks to explore the nearby beaches. They also provide snorkeling equipment at the beach which is always a plus. Secret Paradise Resort is arguably one of the most serene and stunning resort location one can ask for. Highly recommended staying here!!!

My husband stayed here for our anniversary. We wanted a place very close to nature with lots of sun, sand, and sea. Secret Paradise Resort is the exact place to go for all of those. The resort made our anniversary feel luxurious and private due to its intimate location. The food and staff were amazing. Our villa, Hawksbill, was located at sunset beach and we could see the beautiful surrounding every day. We swam, kayaked, snorkeled, but the best part was seeing the baby turtles hatch in the beach. It was truly a trip of a lifetime thanks to secret paradise resort.

The whole experience was wonderful, a real Robinson Crusoe experience. The 4x4 drive from the airport was an adventure of its own. The hour long, longtail boat to the secluded bay was efficient and the beach and surrounding seas were some of the very best I have ever or could ever hope to experience. Semi basic amenities, but perfect for the surrounding and environment.

This 75-hectare privately owned property is beautiful. There are 4 Beaches within property. It takes a little less than a couple of hours from San Vicente but once you reach the property, it's just breathtaking seeing a cove with a resort. There are villas that are can booked in this resort. Definitely, worth a visit. Check my Instagram (gvdrilon) for more pictures or click the link in my profile. My best friend and I decided to explore the Palawan, Philippines last February and we came across Secret Paradise Resort. The photos on their website does not do justice on how unbelievable the place was. We saw the most amazing sunset on their Sunset beach, and its no wonder it's named that. We stayed at one of the villas for a week. Staying there makes you look forward to waking up every morning. The view in front of our room was breathtaking. All of the staff were very accommodating and hospitable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to unwind and relax!

My friends and I stayed here for a week earlier this year in one of their villas. The place was breath taking. They have four beaches and we stayed at sunset beach and every day we witnessed the amazing sunset. The service was exceptional! It was such a delight to be greeted by the friendly staff daily. The food was great. We experience swimming with the turtles and saw monkeys and buffalo roaming the beach every morning and afternoon. The place is good for relaxation, quiet and peaceful. It was amazing how they protect nature. Overall, we are all happy and recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here very early April this year. We decided to book due to a recommendation on Trip Advisor and we were so glad we did! We initially booked for 1 night, (which was definitely not enough) and ended up staying for 3 nights aswe loved it so much! The surroundings are unbeatable and the resort is so peaceful and uncrowded. The snorkelling is great there are lots of un-touched corals, fish and sea life to see. There are also 3 private beaches to explore which you can kayak to. There is also the option to relax on the beach which is so uncrowded you have your own sunbeds and umbrellas. Unfortunately we didn't get a change to see the baby turtles hatch as we were unlucky, however we were lucky enough to swim with turtles every morning! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodation and food was great. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

This is our second time to this resort and it did not disappoint. They have made some changes to the place, a few more cabanas, and they have removed the turtle pen that was in the bay but other than that, the place was just as stunning as the last time we were here. My partner and I stayed for 8 days/nights in March of this year as our first stop on a 20 day trip to the Philippines. This place is ideal for decompressing (and getting over jet lag). We stayed in Orchid Cottage 2 which was perfect for us, the right amount of space and far enough from the hustle (ha ha) of the restaurant. The lovely and stunning Bebe was still working hard (it was so amazing to see her again) and the owner Mark was helpful and lovely as always. Transport in from the airport in PPS was seamless and we fully enjoyed out 8 nights here. It was wonderful to see that the coral had not been damaged too badly with the bleaching events that have occurred in the past couple of years, we even got to see a couple larger turtles AND baby turtles hatching again! What an experience. Food and drinks were fine, the wine selection was decent and we never went hungry. Service was great and everyone employed there would go out of their way to assist you. Wifi was spotty but you aren't there to be on your phone 24/7 so we were not really bothered by this. They even have TVs in the rooms now (which we didn't use!) Overall, we were just as happy this time as we were the last time we stayed and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants something a bit different and off the beaten path.
