The Tentsile campsite is at the best viewpoint to watch the cranes and is available during May-September. The well-equipped vacation house of 100 m² for max 6 people is available year-round. During May-September there is also the cute and simple cabin Satukurki for max 4 people available. Pets are allowed in the vacation house and the cabin for a small extra fee. Kommee Kurki is located in the countryside of Sastamala in the Tampere Region. Kommee Kurki is LGBTQ+ Friendly.

A wonderfully atmospheric place and a beautiful view of the marsh. A lot of birdsong and at night the skunks screamed. A wonderful trip with the family in the bosom of nature. On the site you will find a clean sink and hand washing supplies, a campfire site and a table with chairs. The hostess served an aperitif when we arrived and introduced the place to us. Surprised by the thunder, we got shelter in a nearby cabin.

We were a big family of which part was spending the night in the tentsile and the rest in the house, cooking together and having great time. Day time excursions to surroundings. The kitchen was very well equipped including an oven to bake a berry cake. The house was like home and we will definetely repeat this experience

Second time here. Tentsile swings too much for me so we stayed in a regular tent on the ground.
Great view to the bird lake, saw some cranes, falcon and smaller birds. At night listened to the multitude of bird song from the tent, visited the beavers "construction site".
Host is extremely warm and friendly, lovely and calm nature atmosphere. Will come again next year!

We (Dutch family with two small kids) stayed at this gem of a B&B / farm stay during our spring break. We absolutely loved our holiday at the cottage. It is beautifully located near Tampere, right next to a forest and a stunning lake that attracts crane birds. The spacious cottage is very convenient with all equipment (of course a good sauna!) and information that we could have wished for. There were even some toys for the kids. There was a small playground and trampoline near the house, as well as a beautiful place to BBQ. What really stood out for us was the hospitality of host Anja. She was very welcoming and helpful during out stay, providing suggestions what to do in the area (e.g. the Mr. Goat house, Olafs church and hiking) and helped us with sauna and BBQ. We would really recommend Kommee Kurki! Kiitos, moi moi.

We visited early music festival Sastamala Gregoriana and stayed thee nights in the House of Kommee Kurki. The place is surrounded by beautiful landscape with a nice bird lake just couple hundred meters away from the house. Although the best time for seeing the birds was over, we saw couple of cranes in the reeds of the lake. Spacious, tidy and peaceful place with all necessities and facilities. Even the handmaps for cycling routes were included. The hosts were very friendly and flexible. Highly recommended!

We spent one night in a tentsile tent with my daughter. For someone who searches a peaceful nature experience in a somewhat easy-access place, not too far from settlement but still in your own privacy, this is worth trying. Facilities were simple, but available. (Personally I wouldn't even expect but a wooden outhouse in the woods.) Everything was well taken care of, clean and tidy. The owner came to show the tent, its functions etc. The tentsile was located by a bird lake, so we were able to fall a sleep by listening a choir of cranes and swans. Apparently there are several other species as well. The mist arising by the bed of reeds in the early morning was beautiful. Mind you, this is not a hotel! This is a tent. So take your own sleeping bag! And the nights can be cold even if the days are hot. Summa summarum: If you are interrested in a nature experience with simple facilities, this is for you.

If you want to feel the nature, listen the birds singin and see cranes, you should visit at Kommee Kurki. You will have nice tent in a tree, you can order breakfast basket for morning and Finnish sauna experience is possible here also! This place is only in one group use at the time.

We stayed at tree tent, kids loved it. Beautiful forrest surrounding, in complet privacy. We saw cranes and lot of other birds. Very friendly and helpful service. We would absolutely return here again!

It was really nice staying in hammock in KommeeKurki. Even it was thunder and raining, lightnings,we enjoy it. Didnt get wet and when morning come, breakfast was very nice and tasty.Check out their website.

I didn't see beforehand the thunder coming, otherwise I would have told you about the backup plan = the possibility of coming to the carriage sauna for the thunder storm.
