The Irseer Klosterbräu Braugasthof offers a rustic ambience with a mixture of former monastery, restaurant in old vaults, hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and brewery. The Church located on the brewery grounds, is worth a visit. The room comfort is classified according to the clerical status from “priest”, “abbot” up to “abbot superior extra” for the most luxurious quarters. We... More

The Irseer Klosterbrau is both a world renowned brewery as well as a hotel. Although we did not stay there, we will on our next visit. The beer was excellent and the food was plentiful with delightfully large portions. We would recommend this brewery/hotel to anyone passing through this part of Bavaria.

This small hotel is located in South Germany, among the country side hills and farms. Friendly staff, a bit dry at check in and check out but its bavaria. Clean rooms which are spacious with a nice bathroom. Amenities are there, hairderyer etc as well. Hotel is located among the hills so mobile reception is poor and so the wifi became... More

We always research an overnight stop at a brewery guesthouse in southern Germany for our annual pilgrimage to Austria and were really happy with our choice of the Irseer Klosterbraeu. The hotel appears to be a converted cloister, but is finished to a really high standard, particularly the bathrooms. The town is remarkably quiet and seems centred around the large... More

The Hotel is nostalgically equipped with solid wood furniture, lovely Bathrooms and the Beds are solid and comfortable. The atmosphere is fantastic, but is spoiled by the quality in the Restaurant. A great stop over if you are on the way south to Austria or east to Munich.

Definitely a 3* hotel. There is no lobby, no bar to hang out in. Only the restaurant. So it's either in your room or in the restaurant!!! Not too friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. We had dinner at the hotel: not bad. Breakfast also is good. Brewery was closed on Sunday so we couldn't see much of it.... More

Located at about 3 hours of driving from Stuttgart, we have experienced a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to stay for a 4 days conference. The restaurant on the basement is surprisingly good and I love everything there. There are some small issues that they don't use wifi but internet with the cable and the pillow is quite hard to... Loved this hotel for its character & history. Peacefully situated as you would expect. Huge rooms decorated in keeping with a modern equipped bathroom (loved the ‘rain’ shower built in to the alcove!). Complimentary bottled water & apple juice was a nice touch. We ate in the restaurant but unfortunately the main seating area was full so were sat in... More

We stayed here for 7 nights. The building is typical, old sturdy German constructed, with beautiful woodworking details throughout. The rooms are generously sized, with comfortable beds, soft linens and a window - we enjoyed opening ours at night. :) If you stay here, check out the beer tour. The breakfast and dinners were great - really nice variety. We... More

I do travel a lot for job around Europe and this place is really one of my favourite.
