We have stayed many times because they are dog friendly. The rooms are nice and big and clean. The food was served swiftly, hot and by very friendly staff. There is a lovely field at the back to walk the dogs safely.

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights with our 8 year old daughter, 5 year old son & family dog, whilst visiting family who live nearby. On arrival we were amazed at how clean & spacious the lodge/room was & in particular the cleanliness of the bathroom. From our previous experiences the bathroom is normally a good indicator of... Was near the end of a long drive and picked this place at random for a bit of comfort food for the family. Ok so it's a bit dated but the food was fresh, cutlery clean and the staff extremely pleasant and efficient. If passing again I'd go again - can't say fairer than that really

Just left The Forge, having enjoyed a lovely lunch, en route to camping in Tenby. Food was fresh and tasty, my Husband and I enjoyed freshly made sandwiches of home cooked, hand carved ham and turkey. Our children enjoyed sausage, chips and peas, with 'proper' hand cut chips, good quality sausages, which they polished off. Staff really pleasant and welcoming.... More

Breakfast was excellent well cooked by very friendly staff and portions were very generous. We stopped in number seven lodge which was huge and had two king size beds, also a very nice bathroom shower etc., Only one very small not really complaint there was a slightly fusty smell in the entrance hall.

Having hit the road early in the morning, we reached St Clears mid morning and were looking for somewhere to eat. The Filling Station where we filled up had this restaurant across from its forecourt. We enjoyed a fantastic Traditional Breakfast which had the most lovely dry cured bacon, golden yolked eggs and other things that you could wish for.... More

I've been using the same garage for years and this restaurant is next door to it! But until now never even considered eating here. It is on a dual carriageway so you do need a car to get here. Very large car park and a long sweeping ramp for wheel chairs. There is a bar and they do have lodges... More
