We often book these type of rooms for our short breaks. Always aim to book the purple lodge as in my experience, they always come out in top. Sadly, this stay was similar. Location- easy to find. Local village a short drive/walk with several food options. Hotel facilities- a vending machine! Little chef next door has closed down. Corridor smelt...

I stay at a Travelodge at least one night a week and when i am in est Wales I us ethe St Clears. Really easy to find and park. I stayed a week or so ago and there were plenty of contractors in. It maintains the Traveloidge standard; clean, tidy, well maintained and free parking. Check in was so quick...

We stayed at this Travelodge for five nights, and found it clean and comfortable and with friendly and helpful staff. Towels were changed and the room tidied everyday. The only possible reservation was the limited number of reataurants in St Clears, though the Bangladeshi reataurant was an entertaining find.

Clean and tidy travelodge, welcoming staff - rooms could not be faulted and well sited just off main road. Staff recommended Corvus Hotel for Food and this was excellent. The old Little Chef on site is currently being made into Starbucks - as if there weren't enough of these overpriced imitation coffee shops

This hotel has no facilities for food and there is nothing nearby. Avoid. The rooms are ok but the water is not very hot. No free WiFi other than 30 mins. Rooms are cheap for a reason. Location is poor

Lovely location, with plenty of facilities in St Clears, just 5 mins walk away. Very convenient for further trips into SW Wales, with beautiful routes to travel on. Facilities in hotel also really good and staff are extremely welcoming and attentive.

There is not a lot to complain about. Except the fact that there are no restaurants close by and Wi-Fi is a bit sloppy everything else is decent. The rooms are spacious and the location is good. Definitely recommend.

We chose this hotel as a stop-over to St. David's. The hotel sits just off the roundabout and quiet easy to find. The Little Chef has now gone and work is on going to turn the former site into a new Coffee house. The hotel does not serve food (you can gat a breakfast package deal) but the village down...

The bed was horrible and would have liked the beddings changed on second night as you could see the filth. Other than that, the room was clean and we had enough towels. Staff were great and very friendly...

Stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed a comfy, clean, bright, quiet room with excellent shower and tea etc. We got stranded there Sunday morning. No taxis available and no Sunday bus service. A staff member didn't hesitate to offer a lift into Laugharne. Others were equally helpful. Top marks to the St Clears Travelodge team.
