We stayed at this beautiful restored mill whilst visiting friends in Lespinat We were given the Rose room which was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed you could wish for The breakfast was superb and the evening meal served in the lovely dining room was really tasty The mill is set in a lovely secluded part of Meymac with...

Moulin des Farges is my Uncles beautiful home. This may make me slightly biased, but I feel I can truthfully call it paradise. Being set in a beautiful, unique part of France creates such a tranquil and calming atmosphere. I've spent many beautiful holidays here, both in the mill and (this year) in the Rose room. I hope Uncle Andy,...

We know well Meymac area and it was lacking a lot a nice place to stay. Other hotels are decent (or aren't) but this one is all about charm. What Georgina and Andy brought is indeed their enthusiasm and kindness and they also created an atmosphere. Their house is located in a beautiful, remote area, where you feel alone on...

In spite of its isolation this place was very easy to find, thanks to its website and superbly quiet at night. The restoration work has obviously been done lovingly and the whole environment is captivating. There are a lot of steps up from the carpark down below, so if you have weak knees or small children this may not be...

I stayed here for a week in July with my family in The Mill.. We wanted somewhere special to hold a family reunion and couldn't have picked anywhere more perfect. It is in a beautiful, tranquil location in a forest a short drive from the town of Meymac. Andy and Georgina were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome....

Stayed at the Gite in the grounds of the hotel for 2 weeks. Beautiful location, excellent hosts and a good base to explore the correze region. Weather was a bit cooler than expected but that meant walking was a lot easier than when it is properly hot. Tried my hand at fishing in the lake but no luck for me...

This old mill property is a traveller's dream - calm & quiet ambiance, enchanting refurbished mill buildings surrounded by nature's richness. There's an enticing pool, a welcoming terrace, tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, copious breakfast and an evening meal which can only be described as gourmet cuisine (ask ahead for a meal prepared by the hosts). Topping it all off...

We stayed here for one night to break our journey from the Pyrennes . The property is located some way out of Meymac. Our impression is that it pretentious , trying to be something it isn't , somehow it misses the point. We were not impressed with dinner. Our ensuite bathroom had an old fashioned bath with a shower curtain...

We are sorry to hear of your dislike of our home, certainly we look to provide an honest and open experience for our customers, I would hope far from pretentious, maybe the upgraded room wasn't to your liking with the freestanding bath, had you said at the time you could have stayed in another room with shower cubicle. As for...

Andy and Georgina fully deserve the continuation of the success they are already enjoying. They seem to be fully integrated into the local community. Nothing is too much trouble. They have impeccable taste, the old mill is stylishly decorated. They are wonderful hosts. We and the other two French couples staying ended as good friends. The dinners are superb, there's...
