We stayed here for a week in Feb! The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning. Michael who is the wiener was most helpful, friendly and nothing was too much bother for him! He would greet us every morning for breakfast and for our daily Pints of beer at 4pm. The breakfasts were plentiful and enough of choice for a decent feed. There is a bit of a walk into the village/town of La Villa, down the hill (re named the hill of death) or the longer way round which is a more gradual walk! There’s only one place to eat near here but plenty in the town! Also saw some guests bringing their own food into the bar area and Michael supplied plates. We had rooms 8 & 10. We would definitely book to go back here and it’s fab for skiing as you literally ski out of the hotel…

Nice place, beautiful view. We used to there for a beer and a sandwich after our hikes. We were used to... not anymore: the fostess does not wear the protective mask, she's aware of it but she just always forgets to do! So stay away, if she does not care about customer's health when serving how can we be sure of the precautions she will take when no one can see her?

Le rispondo in italiano, visto che lei é italiano, e sta screditando una struttura italiana, che se fosse stato un cliente abitudinario come dice, non ci avrebbe giudicato e recensito qui come struttura pessima, ma ne avrebbe parlato con noi!! Dubito che possa aver visto quello che scrive, al Garni Miriam, in quanto abbiamo passato un’intera stagione imbavagliati dalla mattina alla sera, chiedendo e pregando che la gente indossasse la mascherina, prendendo ogni genere di insulti e lamentele per aver chiesto di rispettare le norme imposte dalla legge, NON da noi. Abbiamo visto un sacco di persone partire infastidite e seccate per le continue riprese, abbiamo messo un sacco di cartelli, abbiamo subito ogni genere di comportamenti inappropriati, e oggi leggo questo... (scritto sicuramente da qualcuno a cui è stato detto piú volte di mettere la mascherina, non la mano, il gomito o la maglietta) Vogliamo parlare invece di come vi siete comportati voi TUTTA la settimana? After working in La Villa for the Winter 14/15 season, I decided to return to La Villa for a snowboarding holiday! The Ski area is fantastic, so I would highly recommend purchasing the Dolomiti Superski Pass. Even though the Garni Miriam is up a steep hill, it offers complete value for money! The family run accommodation has very friendly staff with comfortable and good sized rooms. There is also good continental breakfast and fast Wifi. The views from the room are great too! There is a ski boot room which is fantastic for drying snow-wear overnight. Great Ski Accommodation and ski area which is close to Venice airport meaning it is less than a two hour drive to the resort! Highly recommended accommodation and I will definitely be returning in the near future! THANK YOU! :)

We already visit Garni Miriam for many years and always enjoy our stay with the family Rotanara. The owners are friendly and always interested and give great service. The prices are very competitive and with free wifi, great breakfast and clean and comfortable rooms and appartements are highly recommended. A big advantage is that you can ski from the Garni to the main gondola that brings you to the center of the Alta Badia ski area which is part of the Dolomiti ski area (1200 km of skislopes). Restaurants and bars are whitin walking distance. Garni Miriam also has a nice bar where you can enjoy a great cappucino or cup of tea but also serves all kind of dinks against good prices. So if you are looking for a great holiday during the winter or summer period I can absolutely recommend Garni Miriam, great value for money so don't hesitate to book your stay you certainly won't regret it!…

Our second visit to this family run guesthouse in La Villa for the easy access to skiing in Alta Badia and the Super Dolomite area in February. This time we had an apartment for 3 which was brilliant; spacious, comfortable, clean and had all the facilities we needed. The bar in the evenings was perfect for games and reading after hard day on the slopes. The ski / boot drying room is ideal for drying gear over night. And we were able to ski from the back door down the field to the main cable car this year! A big thank you to Michael and all his family for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend Garni Miriam as a reasonably priced option (with cheap flights, trains and bus) from the the UK. if you do not mind putting your own package together, this is an affordable way to ski in a fantastic area. My wife and me had a room including breakfast for 40 EUR per person, which was good value for money. Free Wifi was available and they had ok breakfast too. You have to go to the Skiing with the car or you walk for 250m. But you can go with car and park next to Utia Florian which is on the slope. Owners have been very hospitable and gave us good recommendations for restaurants.

I came across this guest house because I was looking for accommodation in La Villa which would accept dogs. An additional problem was my husband's limited mobility which meant that we needed a ground-floor room. We could not have found a better place to be than the Garni Miriam. Our very comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom, which was only a dozen steps from the entrance to the guest house, had a little balcony with a fantastic view over the valley towards San Cassiano and the Gran Risa ski lift. We were welcomed by the owners, Michael and his mother, who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable, and even made arrangements for our room to be cleaned and tidied up in the late morning, giving us (both in our 70s) time to get up and out. Breakfast, served in the dining room downstairs, was a delicious spread of fruit salad, fresh yogurt, cereal, fresh bread and rolls, butter and jam, as well as cheese and ham and, above all, a welcoming smile and friendly chat from Michael's mother. There was a television in the room and very good internet service. Parking was right in front of the guest house so my husband had easy access in and out. We found the Garni so pleasant that we hope to return next year with our son, daughter-in-law and two small grandchildren. We recommend it highly!…

Very nice family run guesthouse. The rooms seem almost new, nice ensuite bathroom. Rooms have balcony and flatscreen tv. The view from our room is amazing. The extremly friendly lady of the house takes a lot of effort to make a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, with fresh bread, bread rolls, cake, cereals, and personally boils you an egg. She makes you feel at home. Very recommendable guesthouse. Fair price.

The guesthouse is located close to la Villa. If you want to ski Alta Badia then this is the place to be. The lifts are just around the corner. For other nearby resort you can use the bus or hitchhike. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is very good. What makes this place special are the owners. Michael, the manager, is very helpful and his mother is always in for a little chat and runs the breakfast buffet very well. After a day I felt like home which is always a good sign! Highly recommended!

Nice little guesthouse quite close to the center of the village. The slopes and lifts are close, so it's easy to get to the slopes on off. The rooms are nice and cosy. Breakfast is good, and they have a nice bar, where you can take after ski drinks. The owner family is very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place to all.
