This hotel really has a fabulous location, which is why we chose it. Sadly there were some very drunk and noisy guests in the corridor that night, loud voices and banging doors, and it was not a pleasant experience - no sound proofing, they sounded as though they were going to walk through our bedroom door any moment! Visiting a range of Co.Donegal properties driving round stunning, just stunning, scenery I rested my very weary head for a night at Carey's Viking House. I booked a Saturday night away here in September with my partner. The location really is second to none. The drive through Donegal is superb and the scenery around Kincasslagh is beautiful with Cruit Island being an unexpected highlight. We cannot speak highly enough about our wonderful wedding experience at the Viking Hotel. Pauline pulled out all the stops to make it a very special day. The journey over the hill and far away from our holiday cottage was worth the twisty road getting there. I believe the hotel used to be owned by Daniel O'Donnell but they were not playing his music!
