First of all there seems to be some confusion on TripAdvisor between this hotel (in Orsay) and another hotel with the same name (Hotel d'Orsay) in Paris. The review by Bryan D below for example applies to the Paris hotel, not to this one. This hotel is conveniently located to visit the CNRS labs on the Orsay campus and it... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel d'Orsay in Paris for four nights at the end of a ten day stay in France. I cannot say enough good things about the staff working at this hotel. All were exceptionally helpful with directions, attractions, restaurants, (every restaurant they recommended was terrific). They even had tickets to the Musee d'Orsay so... More

We were visiting the Salon International d'Agriculture in Central Paris and after our experiences with the traffic in Paris on previous visits decided to stay slightly outside the city and go in by train. The Hotel D'orsay in located 5 minutes walk from the local RER station, Le Guichet then taking a tram which left us directly outside the SIA... More

We selected this hotel since it's a 2-minute walk to the RER Le Guichet train station and not too far into the city of Paris. It's also somewhat cheaper than hotels directly in Paris and not too difficult to find - if you have a good navigation system. The RER trip into central Paris takes about 40-to-50 minutes and costs... More

The Hotel d'Orsay was a convenient place to stay for visiting the CNRS labs for several days. It's convenient to the RER station, Le Guichet (when arriving with luggage, do NOT take rue Vaubien; instead follow the slight incline parallel to the train tracks). The room was basic, clean and safe. There weren't enough electrical outlets--only one in the room,... More

Hotel D'Orsay offers pleasant rooms with good service and friendly staff. The breakfast is very good. The location is perfect as it is very close to the train station. The only downside is that the internet is terribly slow, and almost non-existing.

I stayed here purely because of the location, which is a few hundred metres from the RER and 15 minutes walk from university department I was visiting. There a some restaurants and a late night convenience store near the RER. The surrounding are rather attractive with lots of trees. I was pleasantly surprised by my room, which had clearly been refurbished... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Its a small hotel with nice and helping staff. The location of the hotel is in between residential area hence has quiet surrounding. The town orsay is very small, You can cover the town on foot. The hotel is located just 100 meters from RER which connects this town to Paris. The... More

This was a memorable stay in December, just one night... but I will remember it for a long time. Whilst a good price, this was unfortunately its only good feature. I found the room very cold, the curtains poor, the room noisy, the bed was definitely a bed, but no great comfort there. The place looked tired. Its location was... More

When seen on the web sounded to be the perfect deal ... In fact does need a real and serious refreshing and as of today it is to avoid in hot summer days as without air conditioning, you are cooked like a hummer the whole night if not refreshing with the shower each 2-3 hours ... Breakfast is very good... More
