Palazzo La Loggia is an ancient palace of the XVI century, situated in the historical center of medieval Barisciano the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga. It was fully renovated in 2010 respecting lo stile of the time and using only recycled materials and original antique furniture. Palazzo La Loggia is situated in the heart of downtown and has a large green garden where you can unwind and relax in the sun away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. My B & B is an excellent starting point to visit one of the most beautiful towns in Italy: Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

We spent one night at this wonderful and cosy b&b. The room had loads of character and was full of charm. The palazzo itself looked wonderful and had lots of historical details. The garden was cosy and well taken care of. Breakfast was good (great cappuccino). Room could do with a few updates however. Shaving mirror and electrical sockets were coming off the wall and the shower was dripping. But all in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this lovely B & B for more than a week and are so happy that we did! Adriano and Carmela went through great lengths to help us out with practicalities and advice. Very clean and cozy. A lovely place even for a longer stay. Great for cycling and hiking in the beautiful surroundings. We truly recommend the Osteria Il Borgo dei Fumari in Prata D'Ansidonia for dinner. Arriverdeci!

An amazingly nice place, built in an historic house. The rooms and the interior of the B&B are comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden around the main building as well. The owner Adriano is very hospitable. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed this place very much and totally recommend it.

We stayed for only one night in this beautiful small hotel but it was a very pleasurable experience. The building is about 500 years old and the way the owner has set it up you really experience that, albeit with the modern conveniences that we all appreciate. We stayed in the Caravaggio room which was a good size and beautifully decorated, just off the loggia. The hotel has a lovely garden to sit out in and the grounds are beautifully kept. We had a very comfortable night, a great breakfast before we set off and overall the hotel was great value for money. I look forward to visiting again when we return to this part of Italy and strongly recommend this hotel.

While we have traveled to Italy several times, this was our first to Abruzzo. It is not on the usual tourist map for the US. We adored it. (Gran Sasso alone is worth the going if you like hiking!) And our experience at this lovely B & B was a big part of our joy. The owner, Adriano, and his top notch assistant, Carmela, were delightful. Envision a beautiful garden, a gorgeous room, a grocery literally next door (run by Adriano"s brother), and a general sense of happiness. What else can we say? We loved it there!!

My relatives and I stayed for several nights. The accommodations were wonderfully pleasant, the grounds beautifully maintained and the personal service was impeccable. The adjacent market has all the tasty items you need for a picnic in the courtyard.

We stayed here with friends over Easter and took the Superior Suite and the triple room. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and spacious. The breakfast is very good and varied. The owner gave us useful tips for trips in the area and it was the perfect base for going into the mountains and visit the picturesque hill towns. We will certainly be back!
