Overall nice place, the ice igloo (they only have 8 of them, if I've counted correctly) is nice with their own bathroom and shower (hot water is limited to 60L each use). I guess they have quite a lot of big tour visit from HK and China, so be prepared. (for example, you will hear quite a lot of noises...

Our room had a fireplace and sauna. Loved having both. Made the room very cozy. They also have modern igloos that you can stay in with heat, TV, and toilet. They have a wonderful restaurant as well. Price is reasonable and can vary according to the busy season. The hotels actual name now is Santas Hotel Aurora. Got some extra...

Everything is new, very skillfull made, gourmet fine, service friendly, only rain hold Percides and northern lights out of seigh. Highly recommended for travallers, who are used to get the best man can do: nature, modern housing with open wue to the surroundigs in lappish wildmark and sky. Sauna included, ametist grove givs souvenier from geological history on our planet.

I stayed at this hotel in february 2016 with my mother. The staff war very friendly and helpful. The first night we arrived the told us the northern lights were active, so we went out for a walk and experienced "the aurora borealis". Something magic, I wish everyone to see! The place of the hotel is rather peaceful, no bars...

We had a lovely stay in this modern igloo equipped with heater, TV, attached toilet & bathroom and wifi. They even provide towels. The room was very clean and quite luxurious for a chalet standard. We chose this igloo compared to the one in Ivalo because of the attached toilet. At night we took a 20 minutes walk to the...

We stayed one night at the glass igloo and two night at the standard room. The glass igloo is rather small for a family of 2 adults and 2 young children but the room was luxurious and clean. Personally, I think one night experience in a glass igloo is suffice. We spent another 2 nights in a standard room with...

Stayed one night in glass igloo room and one night in standard room (with fire place and sauna ensuite), paid EUR 685. The hotel provides aurora alarm, by providing a mobile phone and they will send sms when aurora is visible. The Glass igloo room was fantastic and so luxury and comfy. There are 12 rooms, like cottages, located outside...

We didn't stay at this hotel which is actually called Hotel Aurora we stayed in a lovely log cabin nearby. However we booked at this hotel's restaurant from the UK for our wedding anniversary meal. Meal was OK service was slow and disappointing no acknowledgement of our anniversary despite mentioning upon booking. Ended up skipping desert as we did want...

I picked this hotel really just by chance because I wanted the holiday that was based in Luosto but I was lucky in my choice. This hotel is small and traditional in decor but the rooms have more than enough space and are warm (important in January in the Arctic Circle!), the beds are comfortable and the sauna, although I...

We stayed as a family of 5 in interconnecting glass roofed roomsfor a couple of nights hoping to spot the aurora. The weather was not in our favour (we got a glimpse), however we did have a lovely couple of days to play in the snow and explore the surrounds. The hotel backs onto the cross country ski track and...

“The aurora can be seen from the glass igloos, but it's best to get away from the lights of the hotel itself, and the street it is located on, and over to a nearby frozen lake (3-4 min walk), or to a well-known large/open field (7-10 min walk) for the most vibrant and spectacular views in the immediate area. If staying in a standard room, be sure to request a room AWAY from the staircase, and don't expect any view in rooms on the first/downstairs floor, otherwise, all room windows face north.”
