This establishment is situated right on the beach with a large swimming pool in front. The rooms are nice but those facing the pool have a problem with too much light shining brightly all night making it near impossible to sleep. Not enough hot water for two people to shower one after the other - needs several hours in between....

Quite a large hotel. Our room which was quite spacious and clean faced the swimming pool and the beach. No lifts and wifi in reception. Good to relax on the sunbeds but little else to do apart from wander along the beach where a lot of bars and eating places have been established. Morning awakened from 05.00 by the noise...

I would give this property a 3.5 rating if I could. We had a "super deluxe" room, which means it is in the new wing. I think that all of these rooms have sea views. We would have preferred to have a room one floor up, instead of the ground floor. We had requested this, and were told it had...

The hotel is located directly at the beach. If swimming is not recommended in the sea, the hotel offers a very big and clean swimming pool. There are plenty of shady spots to relax within the hotel grounds. Rooms are spacious, already much "lived in" but certainly clean. There are various places to read, drink coffee or have a drink....

We had a tour through Sri Lanka and Mirissa was our final destination for 7 days. As soon as we arrived we already had the feeling that we were not welcome. A middle aged man (looked like the manager) is beyond rude, he didn't even look at you when you speak to him, and that repeated every day. The lady,...

The hotel enjoys a beautiful beach view which is quite possibly its only saving grace. Guests are forced to stay on a half-board basis...probably because no one would choose to dine there of their own accord! The dinner buffet was abominable whereas the breakfast one was relatively much better. The a la carte options are likewise unpalatable. It is a...

After having been in Sri Lanka for a few days I now realise that they probably don't know the definition of a hotel, resort and motel and the differences between them. The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating is the beach and view of surrounding nature. Upon arrival we were offered a "welcome drink" but there was...

This is a great place along the south coast to stop for lunch en route to or from Galle. Great food by the pool, but be sure not to order too late otherwise you have to eat lunch in the indoor upstairs section. The sea here is magnificent and the pool delightful.

The good: Nice pool area, large and nice rooms, close to surf spot, large outdoor area, in general friendly staff. One of the better hotels in Mirissa. The bad: Poor breakfast and dinner buffets, not all staff were very friendly, the people in the reception are sometimes arrogant and unfriendly, and in the restaurant service varied from extremely attentive and...
