Can't beat the location however the accommodation is very basic with old beds, smelly pillows and dirty sheets. Bring plenty of mossie repellant. The owner is lovely but this place needs some serious upgrading for the price.

We were really impressed with the location of giragala, with access to the wonderful beach and relaxed hammock area in the garden it has a good backpacker feel to the place. Rooms are very basic but have netting to prevent mosquito bites which is a godsend. If your planning on spending your days on the beach and local bars and...

Beautiful resort right on the beach Mirissa. Beautiful palm garden with hammocks and lounge chairs. Unfortunately, many lounge chairs are in bad condition, but you can choose some. We had a bungalow with a terrace. The room was clean, comfortable bed with a mosquito net, air conditioning. Clean linen and towels every day. Wardrobe with a small safe for free....

We had a lovely, standing free, beach cottage. No tv, with musquitonet. Lovely garden, yammie Sri Lanka breakfast in the garden. Just watch out for a very annoying tuktuk driver- Madu, who intimidates other drivers cause he wants to drive you, who showes up at the hotel all the time, talking a lot- turned out everything was a lie: a...

It was our first time in Sri Lanka and we couldn't wish for a better place to stay. Room was spacious enough with two beds, hot water and shower in the bathroom. We hardly spend any time in our room and we are not a great funs of all inclusive holiday and this hotel gave us the freedom of doing...

we ended up here after having to leave the accommodation we had originally booked. So glad we did as whilst rooms are fairly basic they are clean with very welcome mozzie nets and the location is fantastic. Giragala is right on the beach at the point where the 2 bays meet; giving access to great body boarding on the West...

Not the first time there and once again we had a great time in Sri Lanka. Giragala Village has a unique location ( beach front ) and all services were outstanding. The day starts with a nice breakfast watching the waves and listening to the birds. Great garden to hang out and enjoy the view. Rooms with large bed and...
