The Guest House is located in the center of Agnone, a small and ancient village in Alto Molise area, known worldwide for the sound of its wonderful and millenary bells. With its artistic beauty, ancient history, the elegant mullioned windows, the stores, the carved lions, the fire that melts the metal in the workshops, Agnone has received the title of Orange Flag, and it is a member of the 100 most beautiful ancient villages in Italy since 2005.
We had an amazing time staying at Locanda La Campana. The hospitality was superb, rooms were very clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast was prepared each morning with beautiful fresh local produce.
Strongly recommend a stay here when visiting Agnone.
We decided last minute to stay the night in Agnone and couldn't book through Bookings.com so we called the property and there was no problem to book it last minute. The proprietor apologized for only having a 'small' room, but we had no issue with...More

There's no easy public transport. You could arrange with Rosita to give you a lift. We had a driver scheduled at Insernia train station to drives us to Agnone. The difficulty with me was getting a rental car since I was traveling on Sunday and via train from Rome.
Once inside the old town of Agnone, there's very limited parking (Rosita can help here too). You can walk the entire old city no problem. Good luck!!
