Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Locanda La Campana is a compelling architectural artistry of ancient stone and timber that embodies the cultural philosophy of the aesthetically stunning town of Agnone, Molise. Beautifully renovated to indulge the most particular of B&B Travellers, the exceptionality of its location for any day-to-day requirements is perhaps only ameliorated by the sincerity and warmness of host Rosita, a highly educated and amiable soul, who compliments her classical Italian elegance with heartfelt empathy and a desire to ensure your stay is educationally congenial, historically significant, and absolutely unforgettable. We will return.

Lovely rooms in a quiet part of the old town. Deliciously furnished and very clean. Rosita, the host is a lovely and very caring person. Attention to detail and hints to the local history, the old stone arched breakfast room is stunning.

Last week my wife, youngest son and mother-in-law stayed at Locanda La Campana for two nights while visiting my great-grandmother's ancestral village. Rosita was a wonderful host - ensuring we had dinner recommendations and reservations each evening as well as providing a wonderful breakfast each morning (among the best we had during our overall two week stay in Italy). The location was great for walks in the old town as well as down the main street into the newer section of town. The location had a nice sitting area for breakfast and relaxing as well as two good size rooms, both with bathrooms, that comfortably accommodated the four of us. Our stay here added to our overall wonderful experience in Agnone.

MS Roaita the coordinator has been so kind and her lovely momma who prepared us a plenty of delicious Italian pastries for breakfast. Roaita’s Husband works for the oldest bell factory in the world so the accommodation is full of bell reliefs. Room’s clean, dining is warm and fantastical traditional looking. I surely recommend this hotel and I surely will be back!

We decided last minute to stay the night in Agnone and couldn't book through Bookings.com so we called the property and there was no problem to book it last minute. The proprietor apologized for only having a 'small' room, but we had no issue with that. It turned out the 'small' room was like a suite! It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The entire property was historic inside and clearly had been upgraded, but kept all its original charm. It was extremely romantic as well, with Christmas decorations still up. Breakfast was incredible, set out for us for whenever we awoke and we had advice for dinner that was perfect. It was centrally located in the historic center, easy to find parking, and easy to get to. It was a comfortable stay, no stress, with the most helpful proprietor, who took care of all of our needs. Highly, highly recommended. What an incredible place to stay in Agnone, which enhanced an already amazing visit to beautiful Agnone.

My brother and i had the pleasure of spending 4 nights in Agnone staying in Rosita's bed and breakfast. It really added to the authenticity of being in Agnone, Rosita would come every morning at a time suitable for both of us to make an amazing Italian breakfast. She was quick to point out all the local attractions as well as just being extremely friendly. The accommodation was spacious and because of the thick bricks it was always cool even when it was very hot outside! I look forward to visiting Agnone again and will happily seek out Rosita for accommodation in the future.

We're so pleased that we chose Locanda as our base for day trips in the mountains. Beautifully detailed , comfortable and appointed with a gracious and helpful host, it was perfection. We parked within 100m and strolled to the excellent restaurants and a bar nearby. The bells of Agnone provide a unique ambience.

Our family of four had the pleasure of staying at Locanda La Campana in April for two nights. Rosita was the most warm, friendly and accommodating host. Everything from the beautiful inn (which Rosita designed herself!) to her wholesome and bountiful breakfasts. She made every effort to make us feel welcome and went out of her way to have an English tour of the bell foundry prior to our departure. I strongly recommend Rosita and Locanda La Campana. Agnone is a beautiful gem of a small town- friendly, welcoming, and carrying its age amazingly well. We look forward to returning one day.

Staying very comfortably in a unique place, the B&B is situated in a very well renovated old city home in the old centre and a quiet area of the beautiful and ancient city of Agnone, characteristically situated on a hill top in the unspoilt Italian region of Molise.
