VTAR/MA/0862 Casa Granadina, a jewel in the Andalucian countryside. A colourful cottage where you can relax in the peace and quiet, or, if you are feeling energetic, take a walk in the dramatic surrounding countryside. It is a great base from which to explore Andalucia. There is a lemon orchard and vegetable garden. An easy setting for you to enjoy a relaxed holiday. You will always be happy to return to the peace, tranquility and easy, homely atmosphere of Casa Granadina.

A lovely break in Casa Granadina, fantastic host Rosie couldn't have done more. Casa Granadina is a delightful Spanish cottage with charming details in a beautiful area of Spain. We enjoyed fantastic walks in this quiet little valley. Only an hour from Malaga but such a great base for exploring both countryside and coastal walks! thank you Rosie, we had a wonderful break!

We really enjoyed our long weekend away. Even though we live within a 30 minute drive from Casa Granadina it truly was a break. So peaceful and quiet. Rosie was kind enough to allow us to bring our cat Bailey and when it came time to go home Bailey also wanted to stay!

My sister and I were looking for property in the area, we stayed at Rosie's for a few nights. Rosie welcomed us from the start and made us feel at home with the lovely accommodation and excellent homemade healthy food. Rosie was full of knowledge about the area and helped us a lot. The accommodation was very cosy and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed having a cup of tea, with a slice of homemade lemon cake surrounded by the pretty courtyard. We loved our stay and would recommend Casa Granadina to anyone.

A fantastic long weekend in Rosie's casa. She was a lovely welcoming knowledgable host, who checked in that we were all ok, and joined us when we asked her too. breakfast was slightly different each day, delicious and healthy. We didn't use the indoor sitting area atall, as we were either out and about or sitting in the sunny outdoor area. The orchard is gorgeous, and I had early morning cuppa out there in the peace and quiet. We were there with friends, and had an eventful walk down the river bed behind Rosie's , spotting 4 turtles , a snake, and a gecko within an hour. The area would be brilliant for walking, although we didn't do much. Local bar food was very good, further into the tourist areas, less so. Cameras and Antiquera well worth visiting. Directions to get there were good, and we made it with only one very small detour. Shona and Andreas.…

A group of 7 of us spent three nights with Rosie and couldn't have asked for a better host. We were made to feel very welcome in her home and felt completely at ease there. Rosie provided a wonderful breakfast every morning and there were tea/coffee making and cooking facilities if needed. The rooms were very comfortable with towels also provided and a lovely terrace to sit on with the beautiful smell of oranges and lemons drifting by. Highly recommended.

I had only visited Spain once before - in the north and so I knew nothing of this area and was entranced by the countryside which was stunning. I found Casa Granadina by chance on the internet and was delighted by the choice. It was wonderful to stay in a traditional house and we were enveloped in silence and watched the stars at night. The hospitality was excellent - Rosie is knowledgeable and helpful with suggesting activities and walking routes. She has a calm and gentle approach and we felt welcome but never overwhelmed and her breakfasts are fabulous. There is one suggestion for improvement. We stayed in the double en-suite room and even with a fan it proved to be a difficult sleep. Perhaps an air-con unit might be something to consider? Apart from that - our stay was excellent and many thanks to Rosie for being so friendly and welcoming.…

My husband Rob and I stayed at Casa Granadina for two nights, Rosie made us both feel so very welcome and her house is beautiful. Having lived in rural Spain for four years and visited many different parts of the country, the Axarquia region still takes my breadth away being so very green and tropical. I would recommend Casa Granadina for a truly relaxing break, with wonderful walks on the doorstep, fantastic scenery, and the experience to stay in an old traditional spanish finca.

A truly restorative break with good food, excellent off the beaten tracks walks. Any one for jaw dropping views, clouds of butterflies unusual photo opportunities of sheep and goats coming down from the hills. Well you got em!! Adventure garanteed on the walks with enough time to chill and indulge in a game of Scrabble if you are so inclined. Don't miss out the sunrise and sunsets. Highly recommend the overall experience!
