City Centre
No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered shopping arcades along Kawaramachi and Shijo Street bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home goods offerings. When it grows dark, the City Center is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and clubs. A trendy culinary scene and an abundance of local watering holes give the Center its youthful vibrancy. In contrast, the quieter areas of the City Center seem a world away, shielded from noise by the foliage of the public gardens and zen spaces surrounding the area's shrines, castles, and the Imperial Palace. These ancient and sacred spots are seamlessly folded into the scenery, providing a respite from the energy of the city, but close enough to put you directly back onto the pulse of the city when you're ready.

Amazing service with excellent caring staff that speak excellent English. Nice free breakfast buffet with protein! Situated 1/2 block from the bus stops, metro and the little old surface train that takes you nearly to the Bamboo Forest. Very comfortable prices and beds.

I stayed here as part of a small group tour. The rooms are small for 2 people but for the most part the design is efficient. The beds are high enough for luggage to be stored under and there are plugs everywhere for all of your devices. And really how much time are you

Dear Mr./Ms. T-Sglobetrotters We can realise that you had had a detailed observation of our accommodation. Thank you very much for letting us serve your stay here and for spending precious time providing us a very candid review. Firstly, It is our utmost pleasure to read your positive comment regarding our location, equipped beds, smart phone services and the free drink bar as well. However, we regret to fail to make you feel more luxurious with the rate in Autumn season. We noticed that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectation but with reviews such as yours we are improving our services. We hope you could relax well and had a great time in Kyoto despite some limitations. We hope to serve you again! Thank you very much! Best regards.
