Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

1. Room size - Please don’t expect the rooms to be big 2. Location - Good access beside dotonburi area 3. Housekeeping - Very Bad!! Toilet is not cleaned throughly with urine smell. If you have not put the room card for housekeeping, no housekeeping will be done. During housekeeping, the whole hotel room hallway is filled with dirty towels wrost than hostel. Very bad impression of a reputable hotel. 4. Front desk- Great service - attended to housekeeping complaints thoroughly.

Location is great, next to dontoburi street. There r alot of choices. Hotel staffs r not really friendly. Probably hotel is too crowded, can’t even offer an extra pillow. Bath area is crowded and cleanliness not well maintained. Walking to namba JR/ nankai to airport is about 15mins. I took taxi from Hotel to OCAT. OCAT has bus to kansai or ITM airport.

It's about 10ish mins walk from all the main shopping areas and buzz places. After traveling for nearly 40 hrs, we were lucky enough to be able to check in two hours early. Staff friendly. Room big enough, bathroom thi felt like some caravan bathroom, it's hard to explain but the whole bathroom fell like made out of cheep plastics panels. The house keeping team clean rooms everyday. The only issue they will leave more dental kits, vanity kits, tea etc every single day, even if you did not use them. After a week of them sitting there you will think they would take a hint that you don't use them. No coffee in the room, just green tea. They also would not take any extra trash that left near the bin, just whatever is inside the bin. The bins really tiny, fills in pretty quickly. The public baths really busy. Kids running around unsupervised, would not recommend. Overall, good hotel, clean.

It was really a good place to stay! Its so near to all the good spots and shopping areas. My family and i stayed there for 5nights though our room is quite small for us, we decided to upgrade and unfortunately that is the biggest room. The room was clean enough to we stayed there comfortably. The breakfast was not that okay because it’s the same menu everyday, just a little change on the other dishes every other day. They should change the menu everyday. But kudos to the staffs they are all friendly and helpful!

I am so grateful to have stayed at Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba! We booked the Luxury Suite and it was absolutely one of the best stays I have ever had. The room was super spacious and the view of the Osaka night skyline was absolutely stunning. We had a huge living room area for us to lounge as well as an outdoor mini patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. But my stay would not be complete without a dip in their Spy Spa on the top floor of the hotel. Super soothing, especially going up there for a morning dip before breakfast at their delicious hotel restaurant. All in all, I think it is value for money and the location is unbeatable!

First visit to this hotel in Oasaka, very nice location with gorgeous rooftop onsen. The hotel is just next to Shinsaibashi walking street and walkable distance to the near railway station, small room with small toilet but enough space for solo traveler. However, the room is well maintained and be honest it's really nice to have rooftop onsen in the central area of Oasaka. Definitely will come back next time for my trip to Oasaka.

Tried this hotel for the first time. It did not disappoint, space is just enough but no storage and aside from that everything else is good and clean. Wll be recommending this place to family and friends. Pretty close by to restaurants and convenience stores.

Staff were very accommodating and assisted with a change to our booking. The room was very small and would be perfect for 2 adults but we were three...the main issue is lack of storage. If you traveled without any bags is would be fine, but on a ski holiday we had a fair bit of stuff. The bed is an enormous super king, which is far too big for the room. The sofa-bed works well and had a window view. The window opened a few inches which was crucial as the room AC was noisy and either too hot or too cold. In Japan you can sleep with windows open even in big cities because there is almost no car horn 'tooting' going on! Small fridge was great and there were cups and glasses galore but very little in the way of tea-bags or condiments. No closet, no usable drawers or shelves. I think a cleverer design of the room would have provided solutions here. Bathroom was the smallest I have experienced in many trips to Japan. Onsen was fabulous and highly recommended. Free luggage storage.

Great clean hotel wirh a good breakfast. The coin operated laundry was also good. It was close to Nippombashi station with good selection of restaurants around the hotel. The only downside is the expensive price of the small hotel room
