Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a new Tokyu Stay and the furnishings shows - for the price point, it’s a very good option for Osaka, but its in a relatively quiet part, though you can either walk 15-20 minutes to reach Shinsaibashi or take the metro (5-10min walk then its one stop).

The hotel is sandwiched between two metro lines that run parallel to each other (red and brown lines, with the brown line station also having access to green line).

The room i had was the basic entry level and it actually felt big for Japan’s standards. The new layout here is slightly different from a previous Tokyu Stay I had been in. The bed here is aligned along the wall with a built in table/desk at the end of the bed - meaning you’ll use the edge of the bed as your chair should you wish to use the desk. There is a usb and electrical outlet on the desk and on the bed panel.

Directly behind the bed headboard is the sink and separated shower stand and bathroom are next to the sink.

Its typical of a no frills functional Japanese business hotel. Bedding is on the firmer end and two good quality japanese style pillows (those with beans in it) were also available.

For people who drives, this hotel has a car rental desk on the ground floor, so it may be a great choice for those who rents and drives.

The reception is located on the 18th floor, it looks like a luggage storage room but from the opposite side you can admire a decent view of the industrial area of Osaka. Despite its proximity to an elevated highway, the hotel was quiet inside. The proximity to the Sakaisuji-Hommachi metro station is very convenient. The entrance is curious and interesting; it is accessed through a book exhibition room. The rooms are small, well-kept and clean. The bathroom has a tub/shower. The receptionist staff are friendly and helpful but speak little or bad English. It was a problem to communicate even for the most basic needs.

The hotel is super dark, you can hardly see anything in your room after sunset. As a gold member of the hotel group, they offered me a room just opposite the lifts. You will hear noise everytime someone pass by. For the welcome drink coupon, I asked for water. I cant believe they give me a cup of water! The hanger in the room is so small and not friendly to use by design. For a four-night stay, they only offer you two bottle of water. They wont replenish the bath salt for your as well.

The bed is so closed to the fridge, you cant open the door.
