The Manager at the front desk has absolutely the worest attitudes I have ever seen in my entire life. Trash talking in Japanese saying I am a white pig and thought I won’t understand the meaning of it. The manager is super rude for saying something like that. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! I really wish I can rate 0 stars for this hotel and this old lady manager

Nice hotel, in a good location to train stations, coffee shops, restaurants and main shopping area. Check in was easy and everything explained about the hotel. Room was very small when compared to western standards but perfectly fine as we only used it to sleep as we were out all day! Rooms also have a fridge and kettle which is handy and a microwave in the lobby. Room was cleaned daily on request, amenities available at reception such as tea, coffee, toothpaste, tooth brush etc. Would recommend that this hotel.

The male aged reception staff attitude is bad. First during our night check in, he already showing impatient attitude, when ask about some other related matter, he keep ask me to wait and wait. During check out, when we pick our luggage, he again being very impatient, as there were some lobby floor cleaning, I asked if I could deposit my stuff in my luggage, he again told me to wait and wait. I told him outside is cleaning floor, can I do it in d luggage deposit area which is their restaurantz he told me no. End up I have to do it outside the hotel. Overall this is one of the worst hospitality I experience in Tokyo

Pro - Location, closed to the train station, we came straight from the airport to the hotel with 2 big luggages easy breezy about 30 mins with the train - Near Ginza shopping district within walking distance - some shops around everywhere you go so very easy getting around, eating around, very convenient. - They have like a whole amenities section at reception and there’s pretty much everything you need there that you can get in case you pack light and forgot things like me. - The room is small but got everything you need seriously. Clean room Con - The room is pretty small, smaller bed and smaller bathroom with 2 luggages are quite difficult at times.

I stayed here for 5 days twice and it's was an amazing experience. super clean, normal size rooms, great service and smoking area downstairs, not outside, which is very important. location was great, easy access to subway.

Situated less than a km from Tokyo station is very convenient for a short city stay. Extremely good access to all public transport. Check in was smooth, but the rooms are seriously tiny ( the famous matchbox rooms of Tokyo hotels) Bed was pushed against the window and was smaller than queen size. Surprisingly they have an attached Bulgarian restaurant serving very good breakfast.

We stayed few nights in Hotel unizo on March. The location is perfect. Which is so near Tokyo station and Ginza station. If you come from NRT airport , you can travel by bus to Tokyo ,and it is only take 1 hr (Yen $1000per person , around $9us dollars). Hotel staffs are super nice and professional, take only few mins for check in . Room is clean and new , compare with standard size hotel rooms in Tokyo . It is acceptable. P.S. we need to leave all of sudden because of cancel flight , we try to contact hotel staff and try to ask if we can cancel extra room night and do refund , they are so professional and help me refund in the next day before check out. Big thanks to hotel staff.

The main things to realise about the hotel are: 1. the location is very good, with about 4 different train stations, servicing about 6 lines between them, at no more than 10 minute walk to the furthest of the station, which basically opens up almost whole of Tokyo for travel, and offering an easy and convenient way to return. 2. The rooms are small, with the bathroom being nearly half of the overall room. In my opinion, the room size is suitable for the solo traveler, or a couple that travels lightly, but not for a couple with luggage, nor a family trip. Despite its small size, the room was well-equipped, with single-use slippers, tooth brush, tooth paste, soaps (both liquid and solid), aftershave, ironing board, a safe, and more. While the room I was in had a view to the back alley behind the hotel, with the purpose of the trip to see Tokyo, I wasn't bothered by the room's location. The adjutant restaurant offers a decent meal to start the morning, with rice, omelette, soup, and more, as well as the nearby convenience stores (Lawson, 7 Eleven, etc), offering a variety of light-, and on-the-go snacks. The price was decent, and generally the staff was welcoming. If in my next trip I'll be traveling solo, I'll consider returning to the hotel, but if it'll be part of a unit (couple, family, friends, etc), I'll probably look elsewhere.

The staff had always been cold and stiff. It went from bad to worse when I asked them how to get to Ueno Station for the three of us with 4 big bags. I said I think a black Japan Taxi ( new UVs that looks like classic London ones) would be enough. They said no (instinct said that was wrong feedback), and that I should take two taxis. I said that it would be difficult and I should probably take an UBer. They said they had no knowledge of UBer (huh?!!). They said their reco was two taxis and that was it. Rude girl!! I ended up taking UBer van. Worked well. The room is so small with one small pillow. I requested for another, and thankfully, I got one because I was told they don’t always have extra. They put a huge ironing board that just took up space in an already cramped room. The room was clean but cleaning was sometimes late in the day - an inconvenience. Every time you enter the room and put the key card in the slot, the tv opens with hotel announcements - so so irritating. The breakfast, was like the hotel, cold and uninviting. They should learn to use food warmers. The Japanese stuff, salads and pickles, were ok except that the curry was watery. The breads was so uncharacteristically not Japanese quality . The location is great and that is the only saving grace. I would stay there again just for the location.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!! Stayed in this hotel for our four-day Tokyo trip. In the last day when we packed our stuff in the suitcases, I found my eyeglasses lost(worth 800 Canadian dollars, about 70000 yen). Then ran down to the lobby and talked to the hotel staff right away. I thought my bag was taken away as trash by housekeeper during daily room makeup. The hotel staff refused to help and not recovering our loss. The female manager (name is Yan 梁) was so arrogant and rude to us. She asked us to prove the eyeglasses lost in the hotel and I asked her to check CCTV on the floor. She refused right away. This pair of eyeglasses were new bought and packed in the eyeglass store paperbag. THE MANAGER INSISTED THAT IS NO SOLUTION!! Extremely disappointed and sad from the attitude of the manager. They don't want to speak English to us even if they can.
