We stayed here at family room #1508 for 6 nights. The hotel is located inside the Solaria Plaza mall building at the Tenjin area and is very near the Tenjin train station, many restos and a Lawson convenient store. Mitsukoshi dept store is at adjacent building, Iwataya dept store is right across while Daimaru dept store, Don Quijote store and Bic Camera are just nearby. From the airport bus stop, the hotel lobby is on the 4th floor while from the mall, it is on the 6th floor. Just like most Japanese hotels, the staff are very courteous and rooms are kept clean. The room is conveniently less than 10 steps away from the 15th floor elevator. The toilet is separated from the shower/bath room which is strategically thoughtful for a family room wherein 4 family members are staying to minimize waiting time. The floor tiles at the shower/bath room are non-slip. Everything is good for this hotel except its room rate/price (Y24,000 a night is expensive for us) and very hard pillows which prevented us from having good sleep every night.

Booked this hotel at the very last minute due to sudden change of travel plan. Choose it because of its prime location in Tenjin and the hotel offer parking lot (1500 yen per night). Turn out the experience is great. Spacious room considering its prime location at city centre, well decorated and tidy room. Strong and stable wifi connection. We dined at the tenpanyaki restaurant and enjoyed a 30% discount as room guest. The food is awesome and highly recommend to try out the restaurant. Definitely worth the money though it's a bit expensive comparing to hotels nearby

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka is located in a central location in Tenjin with so many shopping centres in the immediate vicinity - Solaria Stage, Incube, Parco, Mitsukoshi. Reganet Supermarket is located on B1F within Solaria Stage and we bought the super sweet strawberries and snacks. From Tenjin subway station, hotel is a 3 min walk.

We paid Y28,800 per person for 3 nights for Superior Twin room. We did not have an issue with room cleaning done once every 2 nights. Room is very well sound-proofed. Bed is super single and comfortable, and there is a long sofa near the window where we could leave our open luggages. Room is spacious. Love the Pola body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, as well as the packet size moisture lotion, milk, cleanser, hair brush, moisturiser, etc available near Front Desk on 6F.

Canal City in Hakata is a few bus stops away or 5 min by taxi. From Hotel to Fukuoka Airport, journey took 20 mins and costs Y2,200.

We would stay here again if we re-visit Fukuoka.

Solaria is at the very centre of everything you need in Fukuoka. The best shopping malls are just next to Solaria, and the train station is right downstairs. The staff could speak good English, they were very helpful and detail-oriented.

We stayed in the Hollywood room for 3 people. Although it was a little smaller than expected, but the beds were very big and comfortable. It would be better if the room is slightly bigger so that we could open up all 3 luggage.

We did not try the hotel’s breakfast, but there are so many cafes and restaurants just downstairs.

There is no need to drive at all if you are only there for shopping. Even if you want to go to Marinoa outlet, taxi only takes around 3000 Yen.

It's located in Solaria Plaza shopping mall. Reception is located on the 6th floor. Not all lifts brings u to the hotel so u need to navigate abit. It's also conveniently located above Tenjin underground shopping so it's really a bonus for shoppers. The room also provides two types of pillows - hard n soft. The room looks new and nicely decorated. The size is comfortable for Japan. Excellent noise isolation. Staff is immaculately polite. The hotel is also just next to the bus terminal.

After covid 19 this is my first trip and I decided to stay this hotel again. Although this hotel is not cheap however either the location and service it is the best choice for short trip either for shopping or eating . It is very easy to take a subway or bus from the airport to the Hotel . The hotel situation is impeccable to travel or shopping around . The underground shopping mall is connecting the subway but may be little confused to find a hotel It is very easy to check on and out and the staff is friendly.overall I recommend this hotel

Hotel location is very convenient, 30 minutes from airport by rain or 20 minutes by car, there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel receptionist are very friendly and helpful, they booked bus ticket from Tenjin station to the outlet, as well as booked the car from hotel to airport. The restaurant is good, food choices is enough and price is in average. Double room size is good enough for 2 guest to stay Bed and pillow is comfortable, toilet is little bit small but still okay. Concierge staffs are helpful to pick up my luggage. Even the hotel price is little bit expensive but I will choose this hotel when i travel to Fukuoka again.

Convenience! A straight shot from the airport on a direct subway line. Just a few stops, no transfers and a couple of dollars (USD). The hotel is on the lobby is on the 6th floor of the Solaria Plaza, which is filled with bars and tons of restaurants. Very centrally located in the heart of Fukuoka and need to the train station in case it is not your final destination. Rooms were spacious, especially by Japan standards, comfortable and clean.

I stayed in two Solaria hotels this visit to Kyushu, the one in Kagoshima and this one in Fukuoka. They both shared a common theme of fantastic location, but somewhat cramped rooms. In the case of Kagoshima, there was a immediate proximity to the JR station was well as an excellent view of Mt Sakurakima. In the case of Fukuoka, the Solaria was one of the most fantastically located hotels I've ever stayed in while visiting Japan. The lobby is of the hotel is directly connected to the sixth floor of a shopping center. I've stayed in hotels right on top, and right next door, but never the case of walking out the lobby and there you are. Also, this hotel is in the Tenjin area which has several wonderful department stores in close proximity all connected by underground walkways, Mistukoshi, Iwataya, Daimaru as well as an endless selection of normal shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend Tenjin over the Canal City area.

Hotel staff was very polite and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Great location where we could carry our large suitcases from the station to the hotel. We didn't realise until our second day that the shopping centre links to the underground network of boutique shops, other shopping centres, and train station. Great base to enjoy Tenjin, which we prefer to stay in and explore on foot rather than Hakata.

The hotel was clean and the Superior City View Double room neat and compact. Amenities can be picked up at reception. A nice birthday treat was left in the room as well. Would stay again if we come back to Fukuoka.

Taxi to the airport takes 15-20 minutes only. There are always taxis waiting downstairs right outside the exit of the hotel, there is no need to book in advance. Hope this helps!
