Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Being a Camping and Caravan club site, it really lived up to its Gold Standards ! It’s our first visit to the site and surrounding beautiful Malvern Hills ! Driving our comfortable motor home all the way from home in Carmarthenshire, it’s about 120 miles on A40, A48 and M4 exiting at Junction 24, it took us less than 3 hours taking it easy to get here! Blackmore is a jewel of a place to stay, very well organised to enjoy your break ! As a fastidious 77 year old, I found only a very few points the Manager may wish to take on board by way of a guest’s feedback which I will come to at the end. First, let me give full credit where it is due! Well manicured lawns, tranquil settings, clearly signposted to navigate your way around, free reliable WiFi , very reasonably priced (we paid only £76 odd for my wife and I with our Pembrokeshire Corgi and miniature Jack Russell receiving the generous age discounts, electric hook to our motor home for 3 nights! Well laid out many toilets, shower cubicles mean not having to queue up! Same for washing up your crockery and kitchen utensils etc. staff are friendly and very helpful, working hard to maintain its high standards all round! Other facilities include drinking water in different places so you don’t need to walk far, motor home point to fill up your water tank, empty grey waste water, separate designated place for chemical waste etc. Beautiful walks around and outside the caravan park. Noticeably, Blackmore seems to attract tidy, respectable guests adding to the tranquility! Now, what I think the management may wish to take note of: the air dryers in the male toilet are dated or barely serves the purpose, compounded by the absence of paper towels! Personally, both need to be provided in the interests of good hygiene! However, in the same context, mention must be made of the fact there are hand sanitising points outside toilet entrances and even where you take your recycling and other waste !

Site staff were welcoming and extremely helpful when it came to choosing our pitch, providing pros and cons of each one e.g. shade in the evening, full sun etc.
We were able to choose a lovely flat pitch for our tent in a lovely quiet corner.
The staff were always helpful when it came to freezing ice packs or picking local walks.
It was never noisy and the amenities were always spotless

We stayed in mid July for 2 nights and found this to be a well kept site with lots of trees which made it feel cosy. Short grass and flat pitch for our tent.
Friendly and welcoming staff and very clean facilities with plenty of showers and toilets. 15 minute walk to the pub in Hanley Swan. A great base for exploring the Malvern Hills and surrounding area. Would definitely return!

Normally I would have given thus site 4 or 5 stars but on the last 2 stays this July, there have been some poor standards.
1. Both toilet blocks closed fir cleaning AT THE SAME TIME. It's a huge site and only 1 disabled toilet available in the morning for an hour. The assistant cleaning the toilets spoke to us with her made o , so we could6 hear anything she said!
2. The showers have morphed into wet rooms with no curtains or barrier between powerful soray and seat/ clothes area. Consequently, my clothes and shower bag got wet whilst I showered - not clever! Also, thus c&cc site doesn't have a bucket of disinfectant & water plus mop, to properly clean after you've had a shower.

We stayed in one of the ready camps on the august bank holiday. Although the site was busy the campsite was very quiet at night and in the mornings.

The tent was amazing with enough accommodation for the 4 of us and can easily accommodate 6. The beds were comfortable but if you are not used to camping make sure you bring some extra blankets as it can get cold in the night.

Everything is catered for you which was wonderful. You only need to bring your bedding and food

The site is clean and well laid out. With fish and chips and pizzas being available at the weekends was a real treat.

The staff were ever so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Staff were friendly, amenities were spotless and cleaned 4 times a day. Showers were hot and plenty of them, never had to wait for them or toilets throughout our weeks stay. Sanitiser was readily available.
Site is in good location with a short walk, 15mins, to a lovely pub.
Pub is very popular so would recommend booking meals in advance online.
Nice circular walk nearby.
Dog walk on site in woods around site. Dog waste bins available.
We were staying in our tent but plenty of caravans and motor homes also used site.

First time reviewing for this site but been many times, lovely location, great staff on site, always very clean and tidy . A good dog walking area around the site, generally very quiet during the day and after 10pm, Fish and chips on a Friday night, however can be a big queue. A great place to relax and switch off, if your on EE or Gifgaf mobile networks signal comes and goes, site wifi ok ish but when you have over 150 guests using the same broadband you can't expect the same service as home. Nice walk in to Hanley Swan to the pub. and some good trails. A great location for a visit to Malvern and the hills.

Stayed 2 nights. Facilities good. Had an issue when walking our puppy. Was attacked by another dog that was not secured. Spoke to site staff (not their fault) but dog owners were irresponsible. Witnessed site staff immediately attend and address issue. Thank you.

Cannot recommend Blackmore enough. Excellent facilities, fantastic staff. Lovely peaceful, relaxing site. Great location for hill walks, exploring local towns or dipping into The Cotswolds or South Wales.

Very friendly staff, great location for the Malverns. Shower and toilet facilities are very clean and regularly maintained. Lovely site, area and staff.
Very family friendly site but also suitable for older couples. Probably wouldn't suit younger groups or couples
