From the moment we stepped out of the car Rick and Gina couldn't have made us feel more welcomed. Stunning location, excellent, spacious room, and an excellent breakfast. Plenty to see and do in the area, it's a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

We stopped here on the way back home. The weather wasn't good to we sat inside - inside it's OK but not as pretty as the outside. So if you are hoping for a cute place, this is it if you can sit outside.

We booked a weekend stay and received an email from Rick apologising that the boiler was not working, but trying to fix (these things happen). We decided to stay anyway and arrived amid Storm Arwen. We received a warm welcome and Rick had made arrangements to ensure the hotel was warm and there was plenty of hot water. What could have been a disaster was averted by such a great response from the owners. Will definitely stay again.

Thank you for our lovely stay at The Bark House. We really loved our time here. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was delicious, the views were lovely. We enjoyed walking round the river and the tea garden was fab. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like a lovely relaxing break.
