Returned to Lodfin for a couple more stays since our first visit. Had great times with Jim & Elaine & enjoyed pottering around Bampton. A great location to relax & great hosts. Look forward to our next stay..

Wonderful surroundings, good food and I was even lent Elaine's hiking boots to visit the lake and Summer house! The rooms were beautiful and accessorized with Jim's beautiful wrought iron work in total harmony with the period of the house. Everything was spotlessly clean, very tasteful and Jim and Elaine very welcoming, though never intrusive. My room was better than... More

I've lost count how many times we've stayed here and it's always perfect. I think nearly everyone we know has been here now, we tell everyone how good it is. We will never get tired of Lodfin from the beautiful setting, the spotless rooms, yummy breakfasts and the lovely welcome from Elaine and Jim

Stayed here a few times, and am never disappointed. Set in a beautiful part of Devon, the B&B sits in a lovely quiet area in the middle of the countryside in a big sprawling farmhouse. The owners are so friendly - in fact gave them hugs when we last left!!!! The rooms are lovely and airy, clean, large, comfortable ........ More

We cant rate the Lodfin Farm highly enough, it really is a home from home and absolutely perfect in every respect and being dog friendly was an added bonus otherwise we would not have stayed in this 'little paradise' set in 40 acres with fabulous walking on the doorstep, a great pub within 5 minutes drive away in Bampton and... Despite dreadful weather (not the fault of Lodfin) the stay was wonderful. Great breakfast, spotless room, attentive service beyond the call of duty from Elaine. Can be recommended to anyone. No food/pub within walking distance but several in Bampton and 1 in Exebridge both just minutes away. Ask if disabled as one room has awkward access.

Elaine and Jim (the owners) made us feel very welcome. Lovely rural farmhouse with plenty of space to dog walk on site, either in the woods or round the fishing lake. Our party required two rooms; the family room was deceptively large with a spiral staircase to a separate bathroom. Great space when staying with a dog. Although the other... More
