After our third stay in the B & B we would never stay anywhere else in this area. Richard and Jane are so kind that we almost feel part of the family and even the restrictions (breakfast in our room rather than the breakfast room) seemed to make it more fun. The breakfast was up to the usual high standard - the cooked food brought to us piping hot - and the bowl of fruit is amazing. Richard and jane greeted us like old friends and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Richard even jumped in his car to rescue us at 10pm one night when we were stranded at a train station. Unfortunately the amazing minibus "tours" still cannot take place - but they are well worth taking - Richard know so much of the history of the surrounding countryside and Brecon Beacons.

We stayed for a night last week. The room was really large, spotlessly clean and really quiet. Comfy bed, roomy shower, lovely views. Due to Covid restrictions our breakfast was served in our room. We had a large table and chairs. The breakfast was one of the best we've had. Hot plates, home made bread, well cooked produce and delicious fresh fruits. Highly recommended. We hope to return soon. My only criticism might be the small TV which was quite hard to see from the sofa but only a small point.

We actually stayed in the B&B which is next to the cottages. This is probably the best B&B that my wife and I have stayed in. A very large bedroom with good facilities and a well equipped bathroom. The breakfast is wonderful, you can choose a full Welsh breakfast but be warned this is enormous, my wife and I opted for the smaller version and this was ample. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they arranged for us, at short notice, to dine at the local public house for an evening meal and this also was very good. We would recommend this place unreservedly. Will have to go back and stay in one of the cottages.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of May 2021 and found everything way ahead of our expectations. The farmhouse is set in lovely surroundings of green fields and nosy sheep. The hosts ,Richard and Jane were most welcoming and gave us plenty of information about places of interest and good places to eat ( we were Bed and Breakfast) .We just missed out on Richard's safari tours. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts superb. The food was more than generous, cooked to perfection and all good local products...it set us up for the day. The only tiniest complaint was the tv which was rather small and sound awful but nothing could take away from the sterling all round quality and friendliness of the hosts We have already booked a week to stay during Hay Festival .Jane was so thoughtful and helpful in every way without being " over the top" she made our stay stress free and I feel churlish mentioning the tv because otherwise this holiday setting was perfect .Nigel and Linda from The Wirral.

An excellent B&B very helpful hosts Richard & Jane . Richard was an interesting historian with information and history of local area. The room was large and very clean excellent shower, very comfortable king size bed. A full kitchen sized fridge was so convenient. A medium sized table for eating so handy as with COVID restrictions etc breakfast served to room door. The breakfast was an amazing full Welsh or healthy choices my wife Paula enjoyed. Homemade toasted bread amazing. There COVID safety precautions first class. We had memorable cycle rides in the Elan Valley, taking our bikes on our rear carrier to start point at the visitors centre. Lovely walk Sunday along side of River Wye at Builth Wells. We definitely will consider returning to repeat our adventure and enjoy the hospitality of our hosts. Good tip. Make sure when coming from North set Satnav to go to Builth Wells first. Otherwise if not familiar with area like us it ended up taking us a short cut through very narrow country lane. Fortunately we never met oncoming vehicle. Single track no passing places.
