I stayed here for one night only earlier this week and they were very lovely. They were both so helpful and I not only felt safe, but my room smelt like disinfectant and the sheets like fabric softener. I would definitely come back here again and hopefully stay longer. They were helpful with the local amenities, accommodating for breakfast time and stocked my fridge with things to help me settle in. Couldn't ask for anything more tbh. The views in the morning was lovely too.

Myself and partner stayed here for 4 nights, i am honestly amazed at how they exceeded all of our expectations.
The location is so peaceful, there was alot of information about the area and things you could do while you were there.
The room was so spacious, the bed was so comfy, water pressure was great and it was an amazing added touch getting served breakfast to your room everyday.
The breakfast choices were amazing and the quality of the food was incredible. They really do put so much effort and thought into what they deliver.
There is nothing, what so ever i can think of as a negative for this holiday, we really didn't want to leave.
Its amazing value and worth every penny, we will definitely be coming back again.

We booked two nights in September for two motorcycling adults; a lovely room with huge and delicious breakfasts. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Being off the road it was quite and not too far to walk to the local pub.
Perfect.

The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we required, our hosts were so very welcoming and so helpful with advising on local knowledge and where to go and see. The weather was appalling, however we still had a wonderful day out at the Dams. I will be visiting them again with my extended family. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, and more than enough to fill you up ready for the day. I recommend Pwllgwllym Holiday Cottages and rate them the highest score. Fantastic.

Third time I’ve stayed here on a fishing trip.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts
Large room, large bed, en-suite, sofa, table and chairs, fridge with fresh milk, orange and apple juice.
Lovely location with stunning views.
Wide choice of cereals and fresh fruit for breakfast, home made bread, the Full Welsh is epic.
Gotta be the best value in Wales.

Really lovely location with very friendly hosts.
The room was excellent and spacious with a table and chairs to enjoy the most wonderful breakfast.
Exceptionally clean
Overlooking fields with sheep and lambs under the window
Red Kites and Buzzards gliding past
The owners also run guided tours of the mid Wales wilderness for those looking for walking adventure

An excellent B&B at a very good price for a big room with excellent facilities provided. Very clean and tidy room with massive bed, sofa, table etc. The only thing that let it down was the size of the TV as it is very small for the room (wouldn’t normally be fussed on TV but due to local restrictions you cannot be out after 6pm for food and drink). The shower was incredibly powerful and I could have stayed in it for hours. Breakfast was a pre order system the night before but had an excellent variety(if being greedy a pastry would have gone down a treat too), the way it was served (to the room) and how it was served was excellent. Friendly owners who could not do enough, highly recommend and we would definitely come back.

We actually stayed in the B&B which is next to the cottages. This is probably the best B&B that my wife and I have stayed in. A very large bedroom with good facilities and a well equipped bathroom. The breakfast is wonderful, you can choose a full Welsh breakfast but be warned this is enormous, my wife and I opted for the smaller version and this was ample. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they arranged for us, at short notice, to dine at the local public house for an evening meal and this also was very good. We would recommend this place unreservedly. Will have to go back and stay in one of the cottages.

We stayed for a night last week. The room was really large, spotlessly clean and really quiet.
Comfy bed, roomy shower, lovely views.
Due to Covid restrictions our breakfast was served in our room. We had a large table and chairs. The breakfast was one of the best we've had. Hot plates, home made bread, well cooked produce and delicious fresh fruits.
Highly recommended. We hope to return soon.
My only criticism might be the small TV which was quite hard to see from the sofa but only a small point.

Found ourselves in a difficult situation the day after boxing day (mistakenly turned up to our accommodation 24 hrs early after a 5 hour drive) and Google returned Pwllgwilym Holiday Cottages.
Although just for 1 night Jane and Richard put us up in one of their beautiful cottages for the night.
We were so grateful, we couldn't have managed a night in an already full car with a child and a dog.
The cottage was two bedrooms, with an accessible wetroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area.
The beds were extremely comfortable and being so quiet we had a great night sleep.
The area around the B&B is lovely and if we are ever in the area I'd definitely consider booking here.
Thank you Jane & Richard, Happy New Year!

It is certainly a peaceful location and, if I remember rightly, there were cottages available, but you would have to contact the owners directly - I stayed in the B&B.
