We stayed for one night and were allocated a 'lodge', which was a room set away from the main hotel. It contained all the basics and was clean. But was very dated and tired furniture, carpets and bedding. The room smelt of stale smoke. If the hotel was to employ a handy man for a year and buy 100's of...

I booked a double room at the lakeside lodges hotel. It was horrible. The room had a horrible nasty pungent smell as soon as you opened the door. We complained and got another room below that one. It wasn't any better nor did it feel safe either. Then the power went out. We then had to wait at the reception...

I stopped here on 2 occasions to attend Pirbright Army Family Day and Pass Off Parade in September and October. The first occasion I went with 2 other ladies and we shared the family room, it was huge, double bed and 2 single, large sitting area and bathroom. The 2nd time we had the family room for 3 adults and...

For the money, £86 for single occupancy double, I'd expect more. It's stuck in the eighties with an abundance of artex and the rooms are very tired looking. Lots of mildew around the bath, major marks on bedroom carpet - Its a shame really as the room overlooked the lake and had a balcony so it could be so much...

For the price we paid I wouldn't expect what we had, hook on bathroom door missing, just the screw holes to tease you. A fist punch hole in the bathroom door, trim hanging off under the bathroom sink, bathroom sink tap leaked more out the handle rather than where it should flow from, black mold on shower door trim and...

Shabby lodges. Carpet worn and torn, huge gap between front door and frame, bathroom cupboard jammed closed with piece of cardboard, walls filthy and horrible smell to room. Located around back of the hotel which is quite isolated and as a lone traveller I did not feel safe due to the location and insufficient lock on door. The rooms should...

The hotel is a little outdated but generally fine. What made our stay was the staff, they couldn't have been more helpful, I hope the owner looks after them, they make our stay. The rooms are a good size and the bed is massive, the bathroom is a bit small.

This hotel is a real Jem stuck in the vortex of the 1980's. It's on a lake which is lovely at night. The staff are polite, the beers cold and the burgers go down fine. The room is fine if your not there long and the sheets are the high point( So Soft and warm). Don't turn the fan on....

This place is a classic...something you might see in a Carry On film. But that in itself might be worth a visit. As you pull up into the car park you are greeted by what I presume would be illuminated signage, all raised letters being different shades of faded blue. I'm not sure what the 'international' refers to, perhaps it...

Basic room but all we needed was a bed for 1 night so we could get to Pirbright bright and early. Room far too hot but couldn't turn the radiator down as the control had fell off but the bathroom was freezing because there was no heating at all.Only 1 glat pillow on the bed and the extra one in...
