George & Dragon has 5 well appointed double en-suite bedrooms and one twin en-suite. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, power shower, LCD televisions with freeview and free wifi & mini fridge and now gassing coffee machines and radio alarm clocks with Bluetooth Breakfast includes a variety of cereals, teas, coffees and cooked breakfasts. George & Dragon is located in Tarvin, a picturesque Cheshire village only eight minutes drive from the historic Chester City Center. Within a short driving distance is Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Chester Racecourse, Oulton Park, Delamere Forest and Cheshire Gardens. The pub has its own car park and has a bus stop opposite with regular bus services for Chester and Crewe, making travel easy between local attractions. George & Dragon opens at 12.00Pm and serves home cooked meals 7 days a week 12.00Pm - 9.00Pm. The pub holds live music every Friday night and the pub is always busy through out the weekend. You won't be short of things to do during your stay! The George & Dragon is an excellent place to stay for business or leisure.

Great little place. Rooms very neat and tidy, my room no 5 was very spacious. For the money was great value. Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts Steve and Richard. The hotel/pub is based in a lovely little town but has great link roads to the surrounding areas. Will definitely be back. 😊

Steve and his team were very welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was clean, lovely bedding, and the bed was very comfortable. Cosy real fire. Breakfast was delicious. Had an enjoyable stay and will be returning.

We were a group of 5 celebrating a birthday locally so booked here for dinner. As soon as we arrived the staff were so attentive, regularly asking if we needed any more drinks etc. Not many other people eating for a Saturday night. We couldn’t figure out why because the food was lovely and reasonably priced.

First night of 3 and already been told I have to use another guests remote and share it as they don’t have one for my room, so every time I need to change channel I need to knock on someone’s door to ask for the remote. Food is good though.
