We spent the last week of the summer holidays at Cuckoo down farm with our 6 and 4 year old. On arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful and the kids loved being on a farm with sheepdog, chickens, horses etc. For some reason they couldn’t find our name on the booking but from the very start they told us not to worry and it would all be ok. To our amazement, they came back and gave us an upgrade to a safari tent with a log burning hot tub! The tent and facilities were all excellent and the owners were so helpful whilst we were there helping with getting the log burner going! As well as our tent, we had a lovely forest to explore with its own stream and the kids loved it! It’s a great location with many beaches and attractions under 30 mins away. If you are looking for a real peaceful getaway, I would recommend as this was off the beaten track (beautifully silent!) and you have so much space between tents that you are not over looked. Thank you so much for a great week. Happy to recommend to anyone with kids looking for a stay away. The hot tub was a real winner with the kids!!

We booked as a big group (30 in total) and took all the tents and I can highly recommend it! We had the whole place to ourselves and so our kids could run free without us worrying about them! The facilities were excellent, they have clearly thought of everything! From the fridges, freezer facilities, hot tubs, to the bbq’s, showers and toilets! The tents were all well catered for also. The grounds are stunning and we hardly saw our kids who spent hours of fun exploring and having adventures in the woods which had a stream, an area to build a fire, and swings! My sons favourite bit of the wend!!! I particularly liked the fire pit with logs to sit on at each tent! Plenty of fire wood was provided also! I absolutely loved my time at Cuckoo Down Farm And look forward to going back!

We stayed in the wild rose bell tent at cuckoo down farm ( 2 adults 4 yr old & 6 mth old) for a 3 night stay. The farm setting is idyllic, very easy to find, good parking and well planned out. Wild rose is set slightly on its own which was great, as we felt quite private , handy with little ones that once the gate is closed your safe in your own little paddock. Also. bonus was the shower next to the tent , nice not to have to walk anywhere to shower. Everything was as described and expected. A perfect glamping experience. Would happily highly recommend, a lovely place to make wonderful memories.

My bridesmaids booked tents for a group of us to stay for my hen. It was the perfect setting, and really was a true glamping experience with hot showers and toilets close to our tents. Well equipped kitchens meant we had everything we needed to cook on site. Beds were super comfy with lovely warm duvets too! The log fired hot tubs were an added bonus. Becky was really helpful during the booking process and made sure we all enjoyed our stay. Such a great glamping site, would highly recommend!! Thanks again xx
