The campground is free, with a vault toilet, campfire rings and picnic tables, but is first come first serve. We were able to get all five spots, which was good because the spots are very close together. The parking spots are tight and meant for tents, so leave your trailers at home. You are allowed to have animals, but they...

The campground is as described but the spaces are so close together you can hear the person in the next spot snoring. Heck two spots away we heard snoring going on. The hike back into Red Canyon is nice 4.5 miles round trip I would guess. Have fun.

Campsite as advertised (five sites, no water, fire rings and toilet) was adequate, nice view and good tent sites. However, at the time of our stay (June 29,2011) the gnats made staying outside of the tent intolerable!! Out of five campsites, four were initially occupied but, by morning two sites were abandoned due to the gnat problem. Cutter bug spray...
