We stayed in a large cabin room, 12A. It had an awesome view of the lake with a great front porch for just taking it all in. While there are a lot of people around, there is still this feeling of being secluded. Our cabin had a double bed and a twin bed. The room was spacious enough that even...

Stayed in motel room #8 on the first level. A very big mistake. You may as well be sleeping with the guests above this room as you can hear everything and you won't get very much sleep unless they are mousey quiet. Floors squeak terribly. Bathroom is tiny. No coffee machine. One night at the best is all you should...

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Lake McDonald Lodge! From the moment we drove up we knew we were somewhere special. Not in a boutique hotel sense but in a real sense. The lodge is human scale but still with the wonderful 3 story lobby and cedar timber construction. A 4 log (1 foot x 4 foot) fire...

This lodge has wonderful surroundings and a very beautiful main building complete with large inglenook fire in the lobby- very atmospheric and cosy. Food in the restaurant was good and service was efficient. The only reason for not giving an 'excellent' rating is the fact that we had the tiniest room we have ever stayed in ( a cabin room)....
